I have been going to Abby for my skin care needs at Skintologyrx since March of this year. She is definitely a hidden treasure in Arizona!! I am so lucky to have found her. Over the last few years, and as I age, I noticed some redness on my skin and as hormonal level changes, I also notice changes on my skin. Abby surely understands the chemistry and biochemistry of the effects of hormonal changes on the skin and the environmental effects on our skin. I came to her at first to get a "facial." She explained to me the result that dermaplaning can give. I've never had dermaplaning before and I have never heard of this procedure. I saw the improvement after one session of dermaplaning with Abby. Before I left on my first appointment with her, she recommended a great quality oil geared towards women's needs. After a few months, I am still going to her for my skin care needs and now, my skin is even more beautiful. The redness or rosacea decreased, my skin looks more bright, rather than dull, I have no wrinkles. I love the peel treatments she does, as it gets rid of dead skin cells, renew cell production, and stimulates collagen production as she explained to me. Abby is not the typical Esthetician, and I say this in a good way, because she wants to help you out and beautify yourself from the inside out. I have followed all of her recommendations and I see great results on my skin. I don't know what Nicole is talking about. I've been going to Abby faithfully for a few years. She takes time to get to know your skin and then applies the proper treatments that is are best fit for your skin type. I've been to other aesthetician's and they have never cared about my skin the way she does. My brother has serious acne, he was planning a visit so I recommended Abby to him. He's been on horrible medications for his skin (acutane, and worse) . He saw Abby and now he is getting compliments on how nice his skin looks. He is a totally different person because of her magic. I purchased a Groupon for a Dermaplane. I called the number listed on Skintology RX Groupon. The gal that answered the phone said that Abby makes her own appointments and gave me the cell phone # of Abby. Immeadiately, I called Abby and left a VM. About a week had passed and still no return call from Abby, so I called again and left another VM. She then TEXT me about 1.5 hr later stating she had an availablity the next day @ 2pm. Well, since I work full time, that really didnt work so well for me. So I text her back stating that Tuesdays and Thursdays work best, NO RESPONSE! SO I text her again the next day asking if we could get a date on the books and I gave her 4 different dates/times I am available. She responded that she would text me back when she has her schedule nearby. That was on 3/18. Finally, she text me back today (5 days later). I didnt realize it took someone FIVE days to get their scheduling book! Her text today said "Hello, I have 2pm tomorrow." So in the mean time I have scheduled some other treatments for my face. I told her this. And she states I request a refund from Groupon since I am getting treatments. She clearly didn't want my business. I wouldnt want to go to her after all this unprofessionalism anyways. read more

Abbey burned my face !! horrible. I purchased through Groupon and decided to give her a try. Big mistake !! Be careful everyone she tries to bribe her clients into getting good reviews as she did with me. Ladies take your money elsewhere, she was very unprofessional. There are far more better options in Arizona for skin care. The Groupon was not worth it, you get what you pay for. Also took forever to get a hold of Abbey, she didn't seem motivated to make it a good appointment. I left unhappy. read more

Please do not think I like writing bad reviews. In fact, I would rather not. But, here it is, plain and simple. Bought Groupon for dermaplaning. Exchanged texts to set up date and time. I arrived 15 minutes early for my 2:00 pm appointment. Was told she had me down for 1:00 and had another client booked for 2:00. She took me back to her room in a hurry and rapidly applied ivory liquid makeup to one side of my face. Had me go look in bathroom to mirror to see that I looked like I had pancake makeup which covered up everything. She then asked if the color was good and if I wanted to order it because she was placing product orders that day! Then her 2:00 client arrived. She asked if I could come back later, two hours later, which I said I could not. She said we could reschedule and I asked if she was going to remove what she had put on one side of face or make them look the same before I left. She rapidly applied the liquid make up to the other side of my face. I hate liquid make up as I am 62 years old and would rather not look like I have troweled on makeup. I left not wanting to come back. My face felt thick with the make up, got in my eye and caused tearing. Had to use three make up remover towelettes to get the stuff off! I use Jane Iredale pressed powder and love it. This was an awful experience. Have contacted Groupon for a refund. I have had dermaplaning done at many spas and have never had anyone put make up on my face first. read more
