This is our 3rd time paintballing at Skirmish, clearly we can't get enough of this place. We've made this experience a spring family tradition at this point. There were only 8 of us this time, previously we've come with atleast 20 people which allowed us private play. This time because our group was so small we had to Open Play, which means being added to a larger group of people. That was a bit nerve wrecking, didn't know how badass/weak the other players would be. Lol Our two refs were Eric & Zach, super cool dudes. They added my group to a team that had already been playing a couple games. All together it was about 25-30 of us. We played some solid and really fun games with them and they were such a great group to play with. Everyone was friendly and ready to kick ass. We played about 4 fields, two games each time, ensuring each group got to experience both sides of the field. Our favorites were 'catch the flag' in the tunnels, the helicopter and the tanks! I love the tanks for the high ground it provides and best view points. Catch the flag was amazing, we had a great strategy this time and WON! The refs were really good at making sure no one was cheating and trying to stay in the game after being shot. I really don't know how they're capable of seeing and tracking everything but they did. They asked where we wanted to play next and made sure to provide clear rules...and tips when possible. That was helpful lol. Only things I wished they had is another bathroom in the back where all the gun supplies are provided and additional air tank refills near the front where the seating area closest to the parking lot is. Other than that, I love this place and we will keep coming back. We definitely have to try different fields and not get stuck going to the ones we've already played.

Great place to go paintball shooting, even for first timers! Went with a small group of 6, and we enjoyed ourselves a ton. Kyle was one of our refs and he was amazing! Even offered us bug spray at some point (ps. bring bug spray and sunscreen). I forget the other ref's name but he had a bit of an attitude. Nonetheless, they were both fair and attentive during games, ensuring everybody was safe and enjoying themselves. I think everything was reasonably priced. However, I wouldn't recommend getting the camo suit. It doesn't have any padding, and since the paint is washable, there's not much point in wanting to protect your clothing, just wear something you don't mind getting dirty. The goggles also tend to fog up, especially when you're running around sweating. Hope to be back soon!

Joe Highlighter's smiling face kept our group going strong throughout the whole afternoon. We had such a blast and he really added so much to the day! Would definitely go again if we come back in town in the future. Thanks so much!

Came here yesterday with my friend's group for my first time paint balling! So excited and nervous at the same time. I did not know what to expect but definitely was expecting a lot of pain. We paid $30 per person and $20 for a bag of 500 paintballs. The $30 is because of some group thing and the paint was only $20 per bag because they bought a few cases to get the discount. Otherwise, I think it was $26 a bag. We played in the woods in a few different fields but we didn't get to play in the castle because it was being redone. =( I did expect more obstacle course kinds of fields though. The battles ended pretty quickly but they might just be because we were all amateurs besides 3 or 4 guys. The last battle was also crazy! You basically just shoot each other until you run out of paint! Good thing I start out for that one! Our two refs were real cool and chill and I even ended up shooting one guy by accident. Sorry! I cannot wait to go back and play again!! It did not hurt as much as I was expecting but I did get hit in the head and that does still hurt a bit. Oh and their bathroom... A toilet and a hole.. A deep, dark hole that makes you think a raccoon is going to crawl up and bit you in the butt! O.o

I guess refs don't like being shot as a ref did yell at me but the guy was just wandering around in the open.

If you read the previous review on here, I had the exact same experience last Saturday…read more We drove over 1 hr to get to zombie paintball. Got to the venue at 7:30 our tickets weren't until 830 so we got food. I didn't know they had food, we were going to go grab food and come back. The french fries were amazing! They were hand cut, but they only had two people working the stand. Then within minutes only one person. It got very backed up. Cheeseburgers were What you'd expect. The hot apple cider was warmed on a coffee pot type machine, it took forever. I had to wait and come back for it. The food was decently priced. The only thing I thought was crazy about the pricing was: they were selling one full Smore kit for three dollars! I could buy the marshmallows, graham crackers, and the chocolate for just a little over that. You could also get a pint of apple cider for four dollars or a small Styrofoam cup full for three dollars. Get the jug. We got in line at 8:15. Same situation with the 2 lines and no one knowing how to work them properly. We should have just got the tickets at the door, would have been in faster. One lady around us, son was working that night. She asked to speak with the owner. The owner said they knew what they were doing with the 2 lines. Definitely not! We didn't get on till after 9:30! The ride itself was decent. Only took 10 mins to go through even though the workers will tell you it takes 20-25 mins. You get 100 paintballs, but that's enough. There are only 7-8 real actors. The rest are props. They have a fake simulation on the radio and you have to watch a DVD before going on the ride. Overall it's cute, but a Once and done type of ride.

My family and I actually had a pleasant experience here. The dark side event was well planned and…read morethought out. Every turn had you ready to jump and the actors did a good job in surprising you. Definitely check out the dark side haunted house. Now for the zombie paintball that everyone is complaining about, listen fact of the matter is that this is the most popular attraction overall so of course the wait is going to be annoying. I went through the haunted house at 7 got out by 720 went to the zombie paintball right away waited about 15 min and then I began. Personally speaking it was fun, yes it's not slot of zombie actors, mostly props but it's still plenty of fun and although zombies don't drive... who wouldn't want to shoot paintballs at moving cars? Just shoot and have fun. Everyone who worked there overall was great. Thank you for a wonderful time. Will be back next year.

Our picture at the end only had 3 people because one had popped out into the river. This was on the 6 hour tour. Unfortunately, our recent trip with a group of six was extremely frustrating due to the organization and scheduling. Our original time slot was changed because there were not enough groups, which we understood. However, our new 10:20 time slot was expanded to accommodate additional groups, and we were then required to wait an extended period for a very large group that arrived late. As a result, we did not begin rafting until after 12:15, and the safety review had to be rushed because of the delay. Throughout the trip, our group was repeatedly forced to stop and wait for the late group, who frequently fell out of their raft and struggled to follow the safety instructions. I estimate we spent close to an hour collectively waiting along the river. Even the group scheduled after ours eventually passed us, and we did not return to the bus until shortly after 5:00. I want to emphasize that Olivia, Bailey, Kristen, and Sid were excellent guides and did their best under difficult circumstances. My frustration is entirely with the organization and scheduling of the trip. Additionally, while this was outside of anyone's control, we paid for Class II and III rapids, but the river flow that day was approximately 820 CFS, making the experience much closer to Class I and II. I hope you will take this feedback seriously, as this experience was significantly different from the positive experiences that led me to book with White Water Challengers again.
