I have been taking my son here since he was 9, he's now 11. This is his favorite spot to play. The staff are very helpful, knowledgeable, and they do a great job of mixing up the games and having special nights like pistol night. Stryker has a kids only and an adults night as well. If you've ever wanted to try Airsoft, this is a great place to do that. They have rentals. They let you bring in food or you can buy snacks at the counter. There is an Airsoft store as well. It's stocked with guns, parts, and clothing. I love taking my son here and playing Airsoft. This place has been a great place for me and my son to build great memories. Had my sons birthday party there and everything was great. It was 12 15 year old boys and the staff there was awesome with them.

I drive 2 hours here from NYC for some Airsoft fun. Good game modes, decently sized staging area. Quick games. I rate this as a 4 because the players are generally honest here. The game modes are fun but the refs need to do a better job at explaining the game modes. They just point at the vicinity of the objectives without showing you exactly where things are. I get for the sake of time you don't but maybe put it on a map in the staging area with a picture. Also when teams are stacked, they should be resetting the field. Some refs are great. Others are on their phones. At one point we were right outside the enemy team's spawn for the majority of the game just sitting around because the other team wouldn't come out lol. Made it boring so we just backed off ourselves. Refs didn't do anything. They need to use that PA system some more and be louder with it. Almost to the point of being obnoxious. read more

Great place to go for some simple indoor Airsoft! My first time here was great, the staff was very "chill" and they gave easy understanding instructions. Rules were enforced well, and I was able to play many games with zero difficulty. I enjoyed meeting the people, playing the games with simple game modes. I can assure anyone they would enjoy a stay at this great place since rentals and fees aren't ridiculously expensive like some places. Overall, I will definitely be returning soon! read more

Drove over an hour to come here with my boyfriend and his friends for his birthday and was waiting around to be helped and when we just kept getting ignored I finally grabbed someone and asked a simple question and was greeted with nothing but racism. Alright so where do I start, when you first walk into the joint it's a nice store front. The kids that work there are extremely helpful. My gun mag wasn't holding in the green gas so I brought it to the front to see if someone could fix it and they DID. I went with a party of 5 and one of my friends had to rent a gun and it was a really nice rental for the money. I gotta say the prices here are really good for the game play time you get. They make teams even and fair. Player are really nice and like to help you out. The only downside to the place is the refs are a little rude. And during peak time it's a little crowded. NOT a place for kids. Although they do crone guns these guns being brought in by players are modified and they are able to use C02 backpacks and burst-able rounds. You will be shot at close range. I think this field may be one of my new favorites, because of the staff and their unique layout. While it is a bit of a trip (from Brooklyn or Queens) it is worth it. We've been here twice, and both times had a very good time. The staff at Stryker is knowledgeable, honest, and very friendly. Many a good night can go bad due to poor field management, which has not been our experience here. Stryker recently enlarged their staging area and pro shop, both are now well lit, organized, and well thought out. The "new" pro shop is stocked wall-to-wall with Airsoft AEG's, GBB's, components, and accessories. The pro shop also sells a large variety of Tactical gear, clothing, and other related accessories. They offer equipment rentals (eye protection and AEG's), so if you're new to the sport and you'd like to try Airsoft for the first time, this would be the best way to go without spending a ton on gear before you even know if you like it or not. The field itself is very well lit, and consists of a variety of obstacles, buildings and some vehicles to maneuver around and use for cover. While i wish it was a bit larger (I'm sure a common complaint at every indoor field), the size and layout offer some very good times, with long range engagements and fast gameplay. They do have a ten foot minimum engagement distance, which may take some getting used to, but it's there for safety reasons. No need to get lit up at close range, get angry, and have a bad night. It may be tough to resist the natural urge to pull the trigger, but it helps keep the game safe. "Bang, Bang" rules apply. it may sound or feel silly, but again, it's there for player safety. Speaking of players, they are fair, honest, and there for a good time. Refs are on the ball and keep the action going without turning a blind eye. Stryker also holds private birthday parties, public/private parties, and private events, so make you you check their website or call to make sure there are public games going on before you make the trip. Stryker is fast becoming one of our favorite fields, even with the long trip. read more

Nice set up and very interactive ref. They crono all guns to make sure it is safe and everyones guns are shooting the proper fps . They have a nice staging area and its clean and bright . Havent purchased anything from proshop They have a adult only session and a kid only session. I just wish the kids only was younger, 16-17 i think should be adult, and 15 under for kids, but thats just my thought. Im sure others disagree. This is a good choice for indoor airsoft. read more

So considering the people who own this place had my original review taken down I'm now writing this for a second time. The price per hour \ day is a little pricy but I guess it beats going out in the cold during the winter to play. The games are generic, capture the flag, team death match, and domination. Nothing that's new and innovative. The arena itself is small, FPS limits are set low to compensate but it felt like people were shooting hot. The refs try to keep players in check but a lot of players at this field are there to get cool go pro footage and not play the sport. People don't call hits and the arena is overcrowded during peak times. Refs do tend to favor regulars and players that have an association with the owners of the field during disputes. Fights are not uncommon amongst players. The store has more problems than not, I've hear horror stories of people being sold broken products or friends sending in guns for upgrades and when we get the gun back it still has stock parts or bad work done. They will tell you they have a return policy but they don't, they will just tell you to leave if you don't like it. read more

This place is awesome! If you like first person shooter games, paintball, anything related to the military, or anything related to law enforcement, then this is the place for you. They have a huge indoor arena and use airsoft bb guns. You can rent from them or bring in your own gear. The age range for players is 10 and up. If you come here on the weekend, you will see all ages, even as old as 40 yr old or higher, playing alongside people as young as 10 yr olds. Why? Because FUN has no age limit! You can also have a private airsoft party, where you can have private games. You pay per individual. What I love is they also do Nerf Wars private birthday parties, for kids ages 5 and up. My son had a Nerf War for his 8th birthday party and it was awesome! You pay a flat rate for a group of 20 people. You can either use their Nerf guns or you can bring your own. They also give you Nerf bullets, and protective goggles. You also get a private party room. You can bring in your own food and drinks or have them order pizza and an ice cream cake for you. You can also order goodie bags from them. I recommend you bring your own drinks because they will charge you $5/person on the drinks. We brought a cooler and put 2 dozen cans of soda and 40 juice boxes and ice packs. That was good because the kids do a lot of running around and need drink breaks periodically. We had a bunch of guests cancel on us at the last minute, but that didn't affect the cost of the party because you pay a flat group rate. If you go over 20 people who play the Nerf Wars games, then you would have to pay additionally per person. We only had 10 kids show up for our group, so some of the parents joined in. Half of the kids showed up late, so in the beginning, there were only 5 kids. Let me tell you, that did not matter at all. They still had a blast. They also asked me if I wanted to adjust my pizza order since we had a lot of no shows, which I was grateful for. They also allowed me to reduce my order for the goodie bags and didn't charge me for the ones I didn't use. Other places for kids parties, they don't care about that stuff and you pay for what you order, even if you have extra. All in all, this is an awesome place, has excellent customer service, and great for all ages, regardless if you're a boy or a girl. Try it out! read more

This is the worst Airsoft indoor field in NJ. Rules are not enforced. Refs are inept and too busy with their phones. I don't recommend for kids or adults. This isn't a professional field. It's more like a backwater field where refs play with their local friends. Not customer friendly. Full auto not allowed, but if a ref sees someone being shot full auto no measure is taken, unless you are friends with the refs. Their selection of rentals is too small, the staff (including the refs) is composed of 19 year old kids who "supervise" the adult nights and kid days, but in reality they don't know what they are doing. What a shame for the airsoft community!! Don't go there. There are many other fields better than this one. Not worth your money. read more

Great place to have a kids birthday party. The accommodations in the party aren't so amazing, but the activity itself is a blast. Adults can join in the fun too! Today, the ref finally took action against a rule breaking player and kicked him. This player is always disrespectful and overshooting kids who already called themselves out. I usually am not a fan of the lax reffing and how many chances player get here. But today the ref showed some spine and I was happy for him and the smaller kids on my team who could play in a more friendly atmosphere. Over all this is a fun place to play. read more

This arena is great. The size is perfect for CQB and getting some long range shots across the field. The staff are friendly and nice and the pro shop has some great gear. I only had one problem when I went recently there was a group of cheaters but nothing can be done about that. On a crowded Saturday it is pretty hard to get a table to place your gear but there is always room for improvement. Overall I highly recommend this airsoft arena and I plan on going again in the future. read more

I'm gonna start off by saying I absolutely love this place. You can come here Thursday(for adults) Friday(kids) and than anytime on the weekend. The staff is always checking for chrono tags and admission bands. The staff helps newer players. Older experienced players also help out younger players. Terrible experience. My magazine was stolen in between games at this range. I told the workers they said they would look at the security cameras, they did for five minutes and then instead of looking for my magazine they were talking to their friends. The magazine for my airsoft gun that was stolen cost forty. Would never suggest this place older kids are blasting other kids on full ato in the face at ten feet away. I drive my son all the way from Manhattan to play airsoft here. It's the only place I know of that has a dedicated "kid's night." The staff are young, enthusiastic and very helpful. I just purchased an airsoft gun with all of the attachments. The salesman was knowledgeable and gave good advice. He was even kind enough to assemble all of the attachments for me. Not kid friendly referees are running this place for their friends and their own amusement they shoot at you while walking towards re-spawn i was put on a team with a group of kids and saw the huge bruises left by what seemed to be friends of the referee I tried to speak to management and was faced with more disrespect they offered me a free pass and when I declined I told them it's not about the free pass i would feel better if they spoke to the referee's because it's not right not only for the children but also for the mature players and I was told to leave without refund I can not believe the customer service here and I do not suggest you bring your kids here because they will be relentlessly shot at by these guys and for the mature guys don't waste your time and money here read more

I purchased a KWA airsoft gun for my son after he had his birthday party at Stryker Airsoft (Hackettstown NJ) on July 29th 2017. I purchased a KWA ATP-SE Auto with the extended magazine and BB's and the Green gas needed to power the gun. The total bill was $233.94. When I took the gun out of the box at home I noticed that the orange paint on the tip of the gun had multiple chips in it exactly like the sample that was in the store. They didn't tell me this but they obviously were selling the samples in the display case for customers to hold and check out as new products. I didn't think it mattered that much as I figured we would get our own chips soon enough and I attempted to use the gun. The gun would repeatedly jam and misfire (only shooting air and no BB). We reloaded the gun and tried again... same problem. I also tried using the extended magazine I purchased and the same problem would occur. We must've loaded and tried shooting 5 or 6 magazines (extended and regular) and the same problem would occur over and over. We made sure the BB's were loaded properly and the gun was always fully charged with the green gas. Same problem occurred repeatedly. I called up Stryker Airsoft on Saturday August 5th 2017 and spoke with an employee named Jack. Jack told me that I could either bring the gun back for them to fix or I could receive a refund. I asked him "so I would receive cash back for my return". He replied you would receive cash back if you paid in cash or credit card refund if you paid with a credit card. He also told me that they have had many problems with that particular gun and they believe there was a manufacturing defect with that batch of guns. I then drove 35 minutes back to Stryker Airsoft. Jack was at the counter. He checked out the gun and said there were no problem with it. I explained again the repeated problems we had with it and that I wanted the refund that he told me I could receive. He said he would not do that even though he admitted that he told me I could receive a refund as they have a 45 day return policy. I asked for the manager. A manager named Brendon came over and told me the same thing... that they would not refund the gun. I even told Brendon that I would take a replacement gun of the same kind (hoping that it wouldn't have the same problem) and he refused that as well. He said they cannot take back used guns. I explained again that it never worked from the moment I starting using it and that how can that be described as used when it never worked? I said a number of times I either want a refund for the gun or a new gun to replace the one that didn't work as I was told I could receive. He refused and told me the leave the store or he was calling the police. I told him to call the police. The police arrived and verified with Jack and Brendon the facts of the story. To his credit Jack did not deny anything that I have claimed was the truth. He fully admitted to the police that he told me on the phone that I could return the gun for a refund. When the police asked the manager Brendon why they were not issuing a refund to me, Brendon said that their policy was they do not take back used guns and that any problem had to be done with the manufacturer, KWA. I pulled out my receipt and asked "where does it say anything on my receipt about this". Brendon admitted that it doesn't say anything about returns on their receipts but that is their policy. I asked did I sign anything anywhere agreeing to a no return policy and Brendon said I did not. The police then said this is a civil matter and there was nothing they could do about it as they could not force a business to issue a refund even though they said they would. I then left. Over the next 2 weeks I called the store a number of times and left messages for Connie the owner to call me. I don't know whether the employees gave Connie the message or not, but Connie never called me back. On August 20th 2017, I called Stryker Airsoft again. I spoke with Aiden who was the person that sold me the gun originally on July 29th. I asked for Connie but once again Connie wasn't available or wasn't there. I explained the story of what happened to Aiden. He also stated Stryker's policy of no returns of used equipment even if it was determined to be broken from the moment it was used. I told him that I was going to be forced to file a complaint with the credit card company to dispute the charges or possibly need to sue them in small claims court for a refund. He then said "this conversation is over. You are going to sue us for just $150?" Maybe $150 (the cost of just the basic gun alone) is nothing to Brendon and or Stryker but it sure means something to me and my son. He then replied "do not call back anymore" and hung up the phone. I strongly recommend that anyone considering spending their hard earned money at this place, go somewhere else. They do not have honorable business practices nor do they stand behind the products they sell read more

My son had a birthday party here. I'd have given this place 5 stars except for one major issue. While the 12 boys had an aboslute blast at the Nerf party, I was quite embarrassed about how dirty the place was. There was garbage all over the floor of the observation area, on the counters where we had to sign waiver forms, in the staging area and the bathrooms were just disgusting. All the while there were 3 staff members, 20 something's, just hanging around the cashier counter texting, chatting and doing a lot of nothing. The arena was closed to the public for the party so it's not like there were other customers to take care of. There were several parents who stayed for the party and I found it embarrassing hosting the party in a place that was so dirty. The party room was really dirty, had food crushed all over the carpet and while, an employee vacuumed and tidied up a little before the kids sat down for pizza, I thought "Why not do this ahead of time?" Dirty stained chairs on the observation deck, ripped up carpeting in the other areas. It cost $350 for a birthday party for 12 kids and that included 3 pizzas. I think for that price, the facility should be better cared for. read more

stryker is a very interesting palse I love the pales it's just like everyplace they have their flaws. some of the flaws were the staff don't get me wrong I love some of the staff like Don, but most of the staff do nothing or plays on their phones. and when it comes to things like stolen items they don't eve check the cameras or try to find shit I have personally seen racism when it comes to bulling the blacks. there is one staff member that I dislike the most I don't know her name but whenever I ask for something or a question she makes me feel like I am an inconvenience and rolls her eyes at me or she will whisper under her breath derogatory things towards mentally ill people (the r-word) and frankly I was disappointed because she seems new and tarnishing the name of stryker. in case the management would like to know who this is she had short black hair and was always at the snak coner or flirting with other employees and not paying attention to customers. read more
