Such a great place for gamers and Pokemon fans! Came here for the great selection of Japanese…read morelanguage Pokemon cards at very reasonable prices and found an amazing selection of Magic the Gathering, Lorcana, Star Wars Unlimited, Flesh & Blood and a bunch of other games. Plus the service here was terrific and as an English speaker I was made to feel comfortable. MERCHANDISE: As described, there is so much here and a great variety of product for various games. On top of that there is a significant number of Pokemon collectibles too. It was such a treasure trove. Found some hard to find Funism figurines on top of everything else. SERVICE: A+ this is how customer service should be all of the time. I don't know what happened to another reviewer over 10 years ago, but this place was great. The guy who helped me was great and found some things that were even better than I was looking for. COST: Very reasonable. Very competitive pricing. Worth going to for any locals and visitors alike. Plus they have gaming regularly!
Some of the staff are honestly so cheeky! Questioned why my friend (female) was buying some magic…read morethe gathering cards and insulted her by implying she was ''just buying her way in'' to the game! I have nothing to say about the staff given I don't spend money on them finding them rather overpriced in comparison to other stores and have only went with friends. Staff were polite but the basement was unhygenic even for nerd-store standards! I'm not sure if the courtesy is to clean up after yourself but when you pay for entry you expect the staff to atleast pick up trash.
Interior of Dragon's Lair. So much good stuff.
Love these Pokemon collectibles

Matton offers a large selection of artist equipment, for professionals, amateurs and beginners. I would say it seems that they have it all, whether it comes to drawing, painting, building miniatures - you name it. Multiple types of paper, cardboard, sketchbooks, tutorial literature, glue, tape, artist tools, and the list goes on. Staff lets you stroll around the shop in peace, but gives help if you need it. The service I have had has been ok, not too friendly but not too bad either. Prices are good, I would say. They often have items of different producers and brands, so you can find the price / quality that fits your purpose the best. Location is convenient, as there is a tunnelbana station very close (Rådmansgatan) for rainy days, but when weather is nice, you can enjoy the streets of Vasastan. Luntmarkargatan is a tiny street, on the right hand side from Sveavägen, if you come from the centrum.

I had not planned a visit to Sweden. Came over with one of my students. Only stayed four (!) days…read more We lived outside the city but spent one day exploring. I am a gypsy at heart and will remain so for the rest of my life. Also, I am a city person. Not that I do not enjoy walks through amazing landscapes. Of course I do. But Stockholm was something else. This review is about one shop, rightly called a studio, only. It was perfection. The kind of haven we all need from time to time, wherever we live. I have been in stores selling paper before in loads of capitals. But Ljunggrenspapper, the treasures it contains because that is what is for sale, perfect, measured magical creations, the music (did I hear music or was it really there ?), the few words we exchanged .... had me nearly decide to alter my plans for the immediate future and YES, move to Stockholm find a simple room in Gamla Stan and become a scullery maid and live .... happily ever after. Thank you Barbara. I would love to come today. Tomorrow and many many more times. Have plans for the next months but will try to make this return come true.
