I scheduled a ride for work. I scheduled it for 20 minutes before I actually needed to leave the house and they still did not get there on time for me to make it to work. If u can risk losing ur job or waiting around for them for an hour then by all means call and use them. But if it's for something Important, don't do it. read more

I moved here in probably around 2017. My first run in with skookie rides was when my children and I got stuck at the hospital these guys were awesome and they came and bailed us out. I had been using them ever since but as of recent things have changed it started with, one of their younger drivers driving way faster than I thought necessary while I had one of my children in the cab with me and the same driver in winter decided to roll only my window down all the way and I ended up with bronchitis and and an ear infection but I kept using the service because the older drivers are usually very nice and helpful. Recently though, a few times I have asked for a ride and someone will say we will call you back at so and so time, I wait...and no call. I do not have a vehicle so I am left stuck then. Not too long ago I scheduled a trip to the lake the weather originally Said rain in the morning and just cloudy then it changed to rain on and off with possible thunder and lightning and I did not want to get caught in the middle of a lake with my kids if possible lightning... So, I cancelled the trip. I figured I would go to Wal mart and make a nice dinner and we could rent a movie. I cancelled my trip at 6 in the morning and asked if instead they could just run me to Wal mart. I was ignored! No call back, no text. I called a few more times and nobody got back to me which is not like them they usually always get back to me. After hours of waiting around 10 am I texted them. Asking one if they had received my call and two if they would not mind running me to Wal mart... Half my question was answered the other ignored. So a passive aggressive way of refusing service. Last minute I was talking to a neighbor a s he offered to take us to pick up the food. I have used this service for years but I will no longer call them... I am extremely disappointed in the way I was treated. They are pretty much the only taxi in the area for a long while and that should matter but apparently it gives them the right to now be rude and cocky... read more
