Dr. Moore and her staff are all extremely friendly and welcoming, and the office is not at all intimidating. There are TVs on the ceiling (to watch while you're reclined in the chair), video games in the waiting area, and nice smelling soap in the bathroom. The office was very accommodating to my busy schedule, especially since I live and work in the city. But, the care I received was worth the drive. I cannot recommend Moore Orthodontics enough.

I am now maintaining the straightening with simple retainers and couldn't be happier with the experience. Dr. Schmidt and her group of professionals are a powerhouse team. In the beginning, I had a consultation with Dr. Schmidt and she told me upfront what the costs, benefits and duration of the treatment (within months) would be. Her office really helped make the payment plan work with my Flex Spending Account so that the finances were feasible without too much of an impact to the family budget. I signed the contract and began the process. If you like technology, you'll love the Invisalign process. The 3D scanning resulted in a digital model of my teeth that could be projected out over the next several months to show how the teeth would move with each Invisalign tray. I don't think that I would have had as good of an outcome without Dr. Schmidt and her team's experience. She took detailed notes on how she wanted things to look and could adjust things to make it happen. I trusted her aesthetic vision and it was a pleasure to see it incrementally come to life. Here we are at the end of the "active" phase of Invisalign. Her skilled team worked to help my teeth maintain their new alignment with a permanent wire and a pair of Invisalign-like trays to wear at night (again...your treatment plan may vary). We had a great experience with are first consultation they took X-rays, lots of pictures, and then talked about the best approach for us. Now days they are trying to have kids in braces very young. When I was there I had lost all my baby teeth and had all my adult teeth in. They said that would save us a lot of time and money in the long run. We decided to do the metal braces as they moved the teeth the best and the colors are fun to pick. We also had expanders and spacers as well. They aways had appointments available and if you has any issues with your braces then they can get you in to fix the issue. I will say before your braces come off if you need to get your wisdom teeth taken out then do so. Also wear your retainer after like they say. My teeth are still strait my sisters are now back to being crooked. The wisdom teeth came though and push her teeth and caused her to now need braces again. Don't need to bore/gore you with the details, but I will say that all of my recent dental experiences have been way friendlier and less traumatic than what I can remember from my younger days visiting the dentist. I mean, did your dentist have flat screen tvs for you to watch while you got your tooth pulled? Main Street Smiles has it all. From a super friendly reception area to a charming office converted from a downtown home in main street Barrington, honestly, it feels less like going to the dentist and more like visiting a family member. For my procedures, I had Dr. Pattani, and he immediately put me at ease by confirming the procedures involved, showing me detailed images, and sharing how routine an extraction/implant procedure actually is. My endodontist mentioned that my case might be a bit more complicated, but Dr. Pattani did his due diligence, exploring, researching, and ultimately coming to his own conclusion as to what treatment/next steps were needed. Following the first major procedure, he personally checked on me several times to make sure my recovery was going well. In my case, I had very little pain and I'm eager to see the results of the implant take hold in future visits. It's all smiles for me here. And yes, those flat screen TVs are for real. If only I could schedule my cleanings on football days!

I was referred to Dr. Kubik by Dr. Hyde Sheffield (an amazing periodontist) and Pennino Dentistry, and from start to finish, it was the best experience I've ever had at a doctor's office. At 53 years old, I needed braces and was told I'd have them for 16 to 22 months; they came off right at 16 months to the day. The staff was consistently friendly, welcoming, and kind, answering every question I had and making me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. Dr. Kubik's office has an outstanding morale--he clearly loves what he does and brings humor and warmth to each visit.
