And then 4 days later my nail cracked, and my real nail underneath was separating itself. That's never happened. Came in today and they fixed it. I'm no nail expert... but she put nail glue underneath my separated nail and then filed the chrome off and painted it again.... Sooo I guess we will see how long that lasts. Got home tonight and all of the chrome nails are chipping. They are very kind and personable..... but the quality doesn't match up- even my feet from my pedicure there are already scratchy feeling and there is a fuzzy stuck in the polish. I had barely made it out the door when half of the last layer was already completely off. the person who helped me was more concerned to go home than do a good job. I offered to come back at a better time and her response was "I will get it done and go home after." one of the nails she had to do 3x. The repair she did was a total mess and the layers of the product had come off in less than 2 days. Mind you first it only lasted 24hrs, then the repair lasted what took me to walk from their door to the sidewalk. I am including photos of what my and my daughter's nails looked like.

I would not recommend for any child who is not able to sit still on their own. More recently, my hubby has even started getting his haircut here! He sees Candy, and has been a few times now. He has told me that he likes that she notes what she did to his hair in the computer so when he goes back she knows exactly what to do/what he likes. So.... The reason this place gets 4 stars instead of 5.... Avoid ModSquad at all costs if you are looking to get your nails done. For a pedicure, they are sorely lacking.... No massage chair to sit in. Basically a small barely heated tub for your feet. As far as finger nails, I wanted to get an acrylic fill but they don't do that here. My mani/pedi experience here was terrible. And for a mani/pedi, I was seriously here for about 4 hours. The poor girl truly had no idea what she was doing. Also very small polish selection to choose from. I would not advise anyone to ever go here for nails. They simply aren't equipped and should just stick with the hair aspect and not nails. If you haven't tried one yet, be sure to book your appointment so you can experience basically laying down while getting a pedi. My friend commented how amazingly thorough her pedi was; she said she's never had a nail tech ever buff her feet AND toes! As for my mani - it was my first time with Meg but I was very impressed.
