I've had technicians rip into my cuticles so hard they bleed. When I went in recently for a gel manicure soak-off, they just haphazardly dipped my fingers in acetone and sent me on my way. My nails looked awful and my skin peeled for days afterward, to the point where my hands looked diseased.
