Nat a fan. My manicure with dipped nails took almost 2 hours! The other lady did 3 people in the time it took to have mine done and they are super skinny. I have dipped nails because the thickness keeps me from picking at my hangnails. This manicure will not do that and she did not even clip my cuticles at all! read more

The guy working on my nails had nails that where uncut, and dirty. To take the excess polish off my nail he used his nail and scraped it off. He also took his nails and ran them UNDERNEATH my nails to clean them or somthing... then he proceeded to cut his own nails right in front of me with the same tools he used on me! The lady that did the designs was nice, and did a good job. And the polish lasted a long time. read more

I have been here once. When I called to set up the appointment, they took my name and phone number and I just had to show up. My appointment was mid-day on a weekday, so the salon was relatively empty. During my appointment, a woman of color came into the salon. She said she was from out of town, just here for two days and had some time to kill. She was hoping for a walk in appointment if they had time. The owner of the salon said he didn't have any openings and they were very busy. She looked around at the near-empty salon and asked if she could come back later in the afternoon or the next morning. The owner was frustrated and said she'd have to pay a deposit for her service if she wanted to make an appointment. She said she had never paid a deposit to get her nails painted, but she was from the South - was that normal here? He said yes. She declined the appointment and left. My nail technician confronted the owner and told him that behavior wasn't acceptable. He had no right to ask her for a deposit, they only take deposits for parties that are renting out the salon for weddings, prom, etc. The owner responded that he had every right to ask for a deposit because "those black people don't ever show up for their appointments". My technician said he was being racist and that was not OK. He then doubled down saying it was for the best because he would rather leave the time open for a "better customer". My technician quit during my pedicure. She made it very clear that she was not going to work for a business that behaved that way. He laughed at her like she was overreacting. I have to say, my pedicure was exactly what I wanted and the tech did an amazing job on my nails. However, she is no longer employed there, so I have no reason to recommend this facility. read more

I had the best pedicure I have ever had from Gwin. She did an awesome job getting the dead skin off and scrubbing my feet. Then a warm stone massage on my legs and feet, it felt wonderful. I just moved into town and went here based on all the good reviews. As soon as I walked in I was helped. I said I wanted my nails a Lil shorter and was not given that. They cut my nails way too short and he shaped them square without even asking how I wanted them shaped. I got the gel Polish and it came out chunky making my nails look wide. read more

Only giving them a one star because the one lady who worked on my sisters nails next to me was very talkative and made the time seem to go by fast. I have had both the plain pedicure and the "ultimate" pedicure and the ultimate is amazing, but so is the other. Beautiful job and lasts for a long time. I had some time in between appointments yesterday 1/16/18 and searched for a nail salons close by. Sky Nails had great reviews, so I thought I'd give it a shot and see if I could do a walk-in. It was almost noon, so I was nervous I wouldn't get in. They were so welcoming from the get go. I had brought my own OPI polish I'd just purchased and there wasn't a problem with that. I got the Best pedicure of my life and she really took her time and was so sweet! Then I got a set of acrylics and she was very meticulous and took her time, and the shape & length were better than I ever thought they could look! Amazing experience!! So nice to not be rushed through or feel like an imposition, which I've felt at most other nail salons in Fargo. Plus, the prices are so low-saved $40 versus the mall or Heaven Salon! I was very impressed with the service I received and could not more Highly Recommend! Will not be going anywhere else to get my mani/pedi!! read more
