Literally got me in the next day although they offered same day tinting. Arrived at 10:14 (my apt was at 10 oopsie!) and I was out the door at 10:55 NICE!!! The waiting room was well kept and had plenty of seats the filled up pretty fast but I can see why - they're so quick They offered 3 different types of vehicle tint in 5 different types of shade for the (middle option) ceramic I chose - blocks out majority of heat and UV which is definitely what we want here in Virginia. The staff was professional but casual, vibe was great, all business - Carlos walked me through the options since I couldn't really hear him on the phone he walked me through them AGAIN when I got there & explained the laws as well as what would best fit for my needs (which is a breast feeding mama in the back seat or pumping while at work!) The cost was about right down the middle from the quotes I'd called around for but no one could get me in faster so I thought Ohkay worth it - they charged me $320 for 20% front and back ceramic tint and the second I got in my F150 I could feel a HUGE difference from the factory tint I had before. Much darker (baby's going to be happy about that) and way cooler in this hot summer. Gave us a 20% coupon on our way out and we will absolutely be using that on my husbands RAV! When I got into my untainted car, I felt every bit of the hundred degree heat. His car after the tint install was dramatically cooler. I needed some hand holding, so we went in the parking lot and she pointed out the cars and what percentage tint each had--this was extremely helpful and made it really clear as to what to expect. They have pricing clearly displayed. They had quick availability for scheduling, but since it was close to the end of the day, they offered to put everyone on the job and get it done for me same day (took about 45 minutes but 3 of them were working together). They invite you back for any air bubbles that haven't resolved within a week--I had one and it dried out and went away within two days--part of the cutting process. Also, they put a sticker over your window buttons because you cannot roll them down for 3-5 days after the install--no drive throughs allowed, haha!

Very thorough, and while their price is high it's in line with the area. The issue I had was with their tint jobs. I've had 5 vehicles tinted at Capitol Shine, and while the first 4 were absolutely flawless, the 5th one had to be redone *three* separate times for major issues -- I'm not talking about a little speck of dust here or there, but major contamination. The final time they tinted the last vehicle, they ended up damaging the leather in the car by letting the tinting spray sit on the leather under the window for too long. To their credit, they apologized and refunded me for the tint job -- but I still had to go and have the leather replaced, which was a major pain in the ass. So, if you're looking for detailing - A+ work. If you're looking for tinting, be careful.
