I dropped in on a Friday afternoon (around 4:15pm). The place is massive but I grabbed a table near the front. Some of the tables have a bell/shaker that you can ring to get the waiters attention. Clever. The menu is long: all day breakfast, sizzlers, soup, meats, pasta, sandwiches, burgers, combo meals and drinks. - Avocado mango shake (110 PHP) - they charge an extra 20 PHP to mix two fruits. Decent but the avocado wasn't creamy. - Garlic rice (30 PHP) - they gave me plain rice instead. Lame. - Grilled squid (265 PHP large) - three option sizes (small is 215 PHP and medium is 245 PHP). Might as well go large! I didn't expect the inside squid rings to be stuffed with red onion, tomato and cucumber. Nice but it gets a bit boring after a few bites. The grilled squid was excellently cooked. Great texture and fresh. This is a place where you want to go with a large group so that you can try several things. It is a small romantic place with incredible ambiance (simple yet elegant) and fresh Italian food! We had bruschetta, three types of homemade pasta (penne, spaghetti arribiata, and carbonara) and each was excellent and filling in its own right. This plus their red house wine and very quaint environment made for a very nice evening. To top things off the owner provided a complimentary limoncello. You must try this place!
