This is also a good entry point from Ewa Beach, Kunia, and the West Loch/East Waipahu Neighborhood. The E Express heads straight into Ewa and the 444 going to Walmart Kunia. This station deserves 5 stars because of how useful this station is. I may be inclined to decrease it by one star if plans fall through to remove the 24-hour Don Quijote since the rail would no longer be connected to a grocery store that is sorely needed.

Having a station near a popular shopping center it is a bit more crowded than the others though there aren't any escalators here and is a two level stairway to reach the platform. Majority is nicely shaded even during this hot summer afternoon so wait I for the Skyline is a breeze though I wish there's more seating as after a long day standing all the way home is not something I'd like. I'm enjoying the free ride weekend as I'm learning more and more of what each station has to offer. Thank you!

Dangerously disturbing !!!…read more I took my first Skyline ride a few days ago & noticed the door started to close whether you're ready or not. I want to know why there isn't a safety door stop to avoid someone from being crushed or injured when entering. Especially when there are little children or babies attempting to enter with their parents or guardians !!???? Why in heavens name was this not a MAJOR KICK IN THE HEAD concern when building this foolish thing in the first place!!!! To all the fat cats and brainless idiots who created this mess: Get your act together and fix this!!!! ...Just a 'mortified' parent, grandma, teacher..and yes, tax payer

There aren't any busses nor parking available as I asked where some folks arriving where they were coming from, looking exhausted and hot from the afternoon Sun it seems like a strange and unthought decision to place this station. This free ride program has opened my eyes to the possibility of using this alternate mode of transportation and how each station has its positive and negatives for that particular user. This station is right outside Pearl Highlands and feels unsafe for elderly or anyone who needs time to cross the street. I hope there will be more improvements to this location or it will be a waste of money. Thank you!

Station guides notes escalators though I didn't see any just stairs which there are two levels to reach the platform and elevators of course and after viewing majority of the stations my legs are exhausted so I decided to take it since this station is less crowded. Escalator is nicely air conditioned and smooth is no wonder many are taking it versus the stairs. Love this stop and know it will be put to great use and the cool open air makes a nice relaxing place to wait for your ride...just wish it has more seating at all stations. Thank you!

The Pouhala Waipahu Transit Center Skyline Station is one of the most used stations on the system…read moreso far. It is directly connected to the Waipahu Transit Center, where there are buses to the Waipahu neighborhoods and surrounding areas. There are also numerous strip malls, the Waipahu Festival Market, and Waipahu Public Library/Civic Center within walking distance. If you're looking for bathrooms, you can get off here and use the bus station ones. They are nasty, but if you gotta go, it's only a 10 minute ride from either end! The most useful bus connection is route 433 if you want to go to the Waikele Premium Outlets. Coming from the Stadium, do note that the bus leaves at 00 and 30 of each hour most days, and the train arrives on the 7's, so you might want to get an earlier train and wait a bit more instead of missing the bus that leaves in 3 minutes completely. This station gets 4 stars until the makai entrance gets built. Enjoy!

This station is one of the four stations that opened in October 2025 as a part of the Skyline Sement 2 extension. It's located right across the street from the Makalapa Gate of the Pearl Harbor Naval Base on Kamehameha & Radford. It is also about a 7 minute walk uphill to the NEX (take 1L from the Hālawa Station if that's too far for you), and Target Salt Lake about a 13 minute walk away. Two buses serve this station, with PH8 running to Pearl Harbor (10 minute frequency at rush hour; every 1 hour mid-day) and 331 to Hickam AFB every hour. The station itself is very beautiful, from the green roof, cool artwork in the mezzanine level, green-painted fences, and a nice design on the station entrance tile. This is also one of the only stations that have escalators from ground level to platform (one direction only though). Also, another surprise is the bike rack storage within the paid area with a security camera watching over the area!!! You can literally bike to the rail and keep it here while you work at Pearl Harbor. It's really nice! I haven't used it other than sightseeing on opening day, but I look forward to using it going to the UPS Store at NEX, or Target (if I don't want to wait for the 1L lol).
