A Google search brought me to this nearby shop. Very impressive website and fast response for a quote. I shopped around and found this to be the best price. I needed to have the tint removed on my newly acquired 06 Jetta (bubbles, fogginess) and was told it would take close to 2 hours. I was advised over the phone to drop the vehicle off. Good thing I did, it took about 2.5 hrs. This place is hidden pretty well (missed it my first time driving down Fullerton) and the shop is very no-frills. The asian guy working there seemed nice and wasn't eager to sell me a new tint. I was considering retinting but didn't feel it. I was quoted at $100 for the tint removal and $200 for a new tint w/ lifetime warranty. read more

I had my sedan tinted about a month ago. I went with the front legal limit of Tint in Virginia, all the around. I'm happy as I'm pretty confident that I can tell a difference in cooling, however, I now have more glare than ever through my back window. Maybe because of the angle of the window or the ribs of the defroster, but, the glare is rough, but I doubt this is a Skyline problem, but, this is my first time ever tinting a car, so I don't fully know. The shop took only 2 hours to do the work, as promised. I would like to have seen some sort of document to fill out; Car, Type of Tint, Percentage of Tint, etc., rather, I told the guy behind the counter and I'm guessing he made a mental note of it all. Maybe it's not all that hard to remember, but, mistakes happen. Sample of tint on actual glass would also be helpful, not just the paper poster the manufacturer sent along. Stopped by this shop twice before having the work done. Spoke to an employee about the different tint choices and decided on 50% and 70% on the windshield. The owner called me later in the day and I asked questions about the choices for windshield as I was concerned with blurring. He explained the different choices of tint and price. Settled on 50% and 70% LLmuar, because I wanted to seen in the car and wanted heat protection. 50% was the perfect choice for being visible and having a hint of black. The owner sounded quite knowledgeable and professional which is what I look for in service, so I made an appointment. When I arrived for my appointment the owner was accommodating and professional. I asked if there was a car with the tint we discussed on the windshield again mentioning the blurring and it being clear as a concern. He led me to his personal vehicle and allowed me to sit and look through it. I said that will work and do it. Unbeknownst to me he took that to mean do the entire car in 70%. Doesn't make sense as I spoke to him personally at least 3 times about 50% and 70% for the windshield. 3 times because I spoke to him on the phone about it in our first conversation, called to change my first appointment he confirmed again 50% all around and 70%. When I walked up I pointed to a car in the lot and solidified it had 50% which he confirmed and i said that's good. Not to mention I also spoke to his employee who helped him install on my car, about he percentages I wanted on the car. Given the conversation I was confident I could seat in the waiting room and do some work and not hover. That proved to be a mistake. They drove the car out into the light and from the waiting room window I asked is that 50%? The owner said no its 70% you told me to do it all the way around. With a look of surprise I said I did no such thing, at that point he seemed quite peeved and tossed something and said I will just take it all off and give you your money back. Didn't seem like he needed to be that upset but none the less he was and explained to me how confirmed with me again I stated no you did not otherwise I would have 50%. He told me it was a lot of work to get it perfect, blah blah blah and we needed to come to an agreement. Come to an agreement for his mistake? None the less I said I will give you an extra $100 and that's on top of the $472 I already paid just to get him to do it. He was reluctant and to be honest the way he was coming off I was reluctant for him to touch my car again. He claimed my main intent was heat rejection and honestly that was the main reason I wanted tint, but after stopping by and seeing the tints 3 times I was certain 50% was what I wanted. He gave me 10-15 minutes to decide if I wanted him to take it off because he wants me to be happy, and any longer it would be messy to remove it. I should've taken him up on it, but was concerned with glue being everywhere not to mention he had a bad attitude about it. Plus I noticed some scratches on my dash and the roof lining around the rear and windshield. So I said I guess I will live with it. The owner to his credit, said in an effort to make you happy I will give you back $100. I took it and left. As soon as I got home I noticed two scratches on the windshield and one on the driverside door. So I left it dry for a week of no washing or even touching the window. Stopped in today to have the scratches dealt with and the owner told me the two on the windshield were in the corner and he could replace the driver door with an appointment. I asked what about the windshield he informed me he did it for free so he wasn't going to address it. Then we started to talk about this so called deal we supposedly made at which point I was like I am good and started to leave. Again, the owner told me he didn't want me to leave unhappy but there is nothing he can do. I can make an appointment for the driver side door. I told him no thanks that I didn't feel comfortable with him anymore and he said I wouldn't take it out on your car. I am supposed to have a lifetime warranty so not to sure what to do now if there is an issue with my windshield tint. Bottom line, the tint was installed pretty good(minus the dash scrapes and the roughing of my roof lining), but get things straight before they start work or hover, because the owner does not seem receptive to making it right even when it's his error. read more

Excellent work. I called in the morning to get an estimate for window tint and had my 2017 Accord in later that afternoon and work was completed in around an hour. They stand by their work. 12 days after, I noticed what I though was a bubble on my driver side window. It's was very small. If it wasn't in my line if site to my mirror I wouldn't have even had them look at it. Skyline checked it out for me and found out it was a piece of lint.
