I emailed several companies for information when I was shopping around for tint. Out of all the companies I emailed, Paul from Skyline Tint was the only one who took the time to provide specific details--which I appreciate! I set up an appointment--Paul and his business partner were ready for me the minute I drove up. We sent a message to the business on Yelp and they responded within 24 hours with a very detailed message. I liked their response because it was concise and honest; they didn't pressure us into getting the most expensive product. Ultimately, we decided on the CTX Series. My husband and I are both pleased with how it turned out. I'm a skin freak and was happy to learn that the technology rejects 99% of UV rays. Heat rejection is fantastic. Note, you can't have tint on the front window but you can ask for a clear film to help with heat rejection. All of Skyline's automotive window films carry a lifetime warranty against fading, color fading, peeling, cracking, adhesive failure, and delamination. Finally, I'm happy they put sticky notes on the window push buttons -- you can't roll down the windows for 3-5 days after application. Highly recommend! read more

The appointment and schedule was on point. However the quality of the installation was subpart ( less than average). My car is 2020 Subaru WRX White Edition. I bought it a about a week before I took it to this shop for window tints. After the installation was done, the owner told me to wait a few days without rolling the windows down to allow the film adhere and dry. He also followed up with me after five days. Again the review address the quality of installation, as their service (schedule, and promptness) was very good. On the installation: Three windows had multiple dust particles under the film, one had bubbles, one was scratched and the rear windshield had all of the above to include a weird mark under the film. I brought this to the manager's attention and he said that it was not an installation error, and that that whatever it was, it should not be there. I told him that to me it was installation error and that it should be fixed by his shop. After I continued to confronted the manager with the issues, he expressed that the installation was 99.9% perfect and that there were no issues with the tint. Therefore there was little that hw could do. To me they stand by the quality of the tint and not the quality of the installation and final product. After we talked, he agreed to see the issues and fix the scratch on one of the windows, however in order to get the rear windshield fixed, he asked me to sign a clause releasing them from any potential damage to the defroster of the window. He said that if there was damage it was because of factory defect and not because of the installation or taking away the film...I did not agree to it because the installation was improperly done and I did not wanted to be responsible for any damage they could cause to the car because of their lack of professionalism on the tint installation. I recommend them to be upfront with potential issues with the installation ( which were not explained), but I already knew about since I had window tint on other cars. However, their clause about the windshield was not explained before the job was done...Had I knew, I would have probably go to another shop. I hope they improve, and also hope my military friend and family seek service somewhere else. I came to this shop because of the reviews and pictures, unfortunately I was the one odd case with tint issues that could not be resolved. read more
