We were originally only going to do jetski rental but the reviews convinced us to try the dolphin…read moretour. Firstly jetskis are for the adventurous and come with risks. We are calculated risk takers but adventurous. Our 2 drivers had limited experience and both jetskis was loaded with 2 adults + 1 kid. It took us some time to figure out how the guide wanted us to follow, how best to follow and deal with the wake from other jetskis in the group. We were lucky to happen upon dolphins from the beginning. So the majority of the tour was figuring out how best to keep up. With our loaded ride we were slower and cautious. Ultimately the tour challenged us, was thrilling and gave us the up close brush with dolphins that we were looking for. The guide and other staff were professional and we would recommend this tour. FYI we were bitten by tiny black insects (noseeums?) at their counter during check in. One of the staff was applying some spray on themselves so it must be a known issue. I think they should clearly inform all customers of the issue so they can be prepared with insect repellent.

So we took our three kids and paid $60 per child and got the $75 package that comes with a little longer ride and they dip them twice in the water. The staff was super friendly and the kids met the boat right on time. A boat ferries them about two miles up the coast where the bigger boat takes them out. That's the only down side is we can't watch them. The kids had a blast. Since we couldn't watch them I purchased the $25 package with a disk that comes with 25 pictures they take. This is the reason for not being five stars. There was a miscommunication and the they never took the pictures. So we lost out on great pics we could have had. They were great about it and instantly refunded but just bummed we couldn't see any pics. We'll come back next year though.

There were 14 of us and we rented chairs and umbrellas from Holiday Water sports. I called a week prior to coming and talk to both Sharon and Gary. They set me up and I had no need to worry any details. Gary greeted me by name and treated me with the upmost class like he does to all his customers. I encourage all travelers to use Holiday Water sports at all 3 of there locations. You will not be disappointed. Ft. Meyers beach is rebuilding and there are many things to do . There's street parking available, just drive around, there is a paid lot as well. Meter parking per hour. Beach wasn't busy, we just walked to the water and played with the waves for half an hour. Perfect day for the beach too. The pier was under construction when I was there, no restaurants nearby either.

The beach, however, was happenin', with lots of people lazing on the beach or in the beautiful water. Despite the amount of people there, we were able to find sea shells, and because of the time of day, there weren't a ton of gulls. The beach stretches out for quite a bit in both directions from the pier, but we went to the right of it to get the best shots of the sunset. Parking here is metered with one of those pay machines where you put in your space number and how long you will be there. It is reasonably priced, and there were a lot of parking spaces. I believe you can park on the bordering streets if the lots are full. Honestly, I didn't even now we were going to visit here, but I'm glad we did! The second group of two left the deck at 3:14 and returned at 3:19 (5 minutes). At the end of the rush of making sure we got off the boat as quickly as possible the shoved the receipt at us asking for a 15, 20, or 25% tip. Felt like cattle. My daughter had never jet skied before so she had to take a quick test. The staff was so sweet and genuine. CJ was our favorite! They really took the time to explain everything! The jet ski's were new and in excellent condition. When we first arrived to the beach 930am there was a chance that we would be delayed due to a storm....the staff was very professional and as the storm passed we were able to resume with our day. Reasonably priced! We definitely recommend this company to take care of your beach side vacation needs!
