They canceled my initial measurements due to bad weather (which I understand) but that was in mid-December. They never rescheduled a 20 minute measurement to get my doors ordered after allowing me to spend a lot of independent effort working with the manufacturer on my specs. I have never left a company a bad review in my entire life - no matter the experience. But Danielle was disrespectful, dishonest, inconsiderate of my time, misleading, and broke multiple promises. They provided a couple of quotes for a new opener plus install. The quote was very reasonable based on our experience and they had us scheduled for completion within days. They showed up on time and we're done in just over an hour. This included them having to cut the main rail down to fit the new configuration. They removed the old opener and had the entire area cleaned up. They even helped program the door openers in our cars to work with the new opener. This was an excellent experience. As a 10+ year repeat customer, it's shocking to even have to be writing this…read more I did a garage addition to my home and called Justin (the owner) to come quote the new door and opener. I explained that the garage opening and ceiling heights were built to maximum workable dimensions to accommodate tall vehicles and a boat. I requested that a side mounted opener be used to maintain full ceiling height in the garage. Justin came out and measured and indicated that he could use a side mounted opener and lose only 2" of the opening due to door rollback and maximum operating ability of the side opener. This was completely acceptable. He also requested that my contractor build a special box with an outlet to house the tension bar and opener. I complied and paid my contractor to complete this. Upon installation of the door and opener, the technicians showed me that the side mount opener would leave the door 7" shy of the full opening space. Not 2" as promised by Justin, 7"!!! The technicians were unsure why Justin would have even promised such a result. They indicated that the only way to achieve the full height opening was to switch to a ceiling mounted unit and returned in the coming weeks to do so. Now, not only was I out the money I paid to have the special accommodations built, I had to pay my contractor to install an additional outlet in the ceiling for the ceiling mounted opener. Even worse, I lost 6" of height in the center of my garage due to the ceiling mounted opener that we were trying to avoid in the first place. I indicated that I would like some cost accommodations for the additional work I had to pay for and less than desirable final outcome I am forced to live with. I once again involved Justin, but in the end his final position was basically too bad, pay your full amount due or I'm going to file suit with the magistrate. 0.0% goodwill on his part. A shocking way to conduct business and based on other recent 1 star Google reviews an apparent unfortunate trend for this company.
