If the at home service wasn't enough for convenience, the Slate team offered next day appointments which was perfect for my mom's schedule. We booked the Refresh Package for her SUV and at $140, it was definitely worth it. Brandon was the detailer who serviced my mom's car and he had it spotless and free of the black smudges especially from the drivers side mirror that was recently "tapped" by another car. Called on Friday, got appt for 8 am Saturday! for interior cleaning (we had an entire med root beer spill all over the floor, including under the passenger seat, when we had to cram on the brakes for an idiot cutting in front of us. He cleaned the entire interior and the 5 year old car looks good as new inside now! He used cleaner on the carpet that had enzymes in it to get rid of the sugar and root beer smell. THANKS SO MUCH!!! I have used several different detailers over the years, to a variety of results. I've had good but overpriced details, unprofessional people just looking for "easy" money by doing rushed details, and detailers who have surprise upcharges. Slate Detail is none of those. On their website, each detailing package clearly lays out the services included at that price. There are no surprise charges, unless you count requesting a service that isn't included as a "surprise" charge. He offers mobile detailing for a slightly higher price than his on-site detailing, but that's understandable. He's punctual and professional. And I was impressed that he brought his own water to wash the car with for my mobile detailing appointment; he's the first and only I've seen do that. Simply Excellent. I had the seats and console out to run wiring, so I could have areas of the carpets cleaned that are not usually exposed. I also had break dust on the mags. I accidentally left all my windows down in my Honda during a nasty rainstorm and my car interior got soaked and started to smell mildewy and musty. I called and Brandon arranged to meet with me to look at my car to see what he recommended before I scheduled. He was so friendly and helpful! He got me in earlier than normal to help me out, he was really accommodating and when I picked up my car, it was so fresh and clean. I can't say enough great things about Brandon and this company. I left my sunroof open during a tropical storm. My car was soaked and started smelling quickly. Slate was completely booked but Brandon made arrangements to meet me earlier than they normally open to squeeze me in. I had been looking for a good detail company on Yelp and came across Slate Detail. I couldn't be happier with the way my car turned out. It was like a brand new vehicle! I called Slate Detail and got Brandon on the phone. He was friendly, professional and super easy to work with. I booked my appointment with him over the phone and he came out on a Sunday. You can also make appointments online too. He was even nicer in person and his attention to detail was amazing. I had spilled a huge Starbucks coffee in my center console and coffee got inside the air conditioning buttons. It was sticky and the knobs weren't turning well. I told him this and he said he could fix it-no problem. I also had some scratches on the back trim piece that he was able to get out. I really am so impressed with the job he did! When I first called in the explain the car's condition to Brandon and that I wanted to get it ready for trade-in, he was patient, friendly, and thoroughly explained what he would do and how to book.
