"Perfection, dedication and attention to detail" - When you look for a company to perform an…read moreextensive custom re-upholstery project on your prized possession, those are the words you want to hear. While searching for a team to transform my interior of my Maserati, I visited/interviewed many shops in Florida. The honest ones refused to submit a quote. By their own admission, the job I needed done was detailed and they did not feel "qualified" or "up to" the task. To be completely honest, some did not even know how to spell Maserati GranTurismo. I really thought I was at a dead end until I happened to find Bahamas Upholstery & Marine Canvas' website. When I was viewing their photo gallery, I was surprised to see photos of Maseratis. With nothing to lose, I gave them a call. Within minutes of speaking to William (the owner), I knew his company was going to do the job. He mentioned items about my car that only a seasoned craftsman with extensive Maserati knowledge would know. Since I lived 4 hours away from the shop, I sent him photos of my interior. Within a day he followed up with a phone call to iron out some details. He provided a realistic quote and a sincere commitment to my 100% satisfaction. Early the next week, I drove my car to his shop in Miami. While driving, I was concerned that once he saw the car, the price would increase. That was not the case. The transformation should have taken at least 8 weeks. William's entire team worked on the car day, night and weekends. The process lasted four weeks (one week sooner than originally quoted) William was in constant communication. Every few days I would get updated videos and phone calls. I would get text messages and videos as late as 10PM. It was truly a collaborative effort. It was a give and take of ideas with several important elements; my complete and total satisfaction and happiness. So today I picked up my GranTurismo and it was a jaw dropping moment. My Maserati has NEVER looked so great!!! I am sincerely indebted to William and his team who worked on my car at Bahamas Upholstery & Marine Canvas. Their attention to detail was amazing. My car looks better than when it rolled off the assembly in Modena Italy. The team at Bahamas Upholstery & Marine Canvas are true artists and perfectionists. So if you look up perfection, dedication and attention to detail in a dictionary; you will see a picture of Bahamas Upholstery & Marine Canvas.

If you're looking for a spa day for your car, you've found it--and his name is Cecillio!…read more My dog ripped the leather door panels in my car, leaving them hanging off the doors. Within three days of contacting Cilliro, the entire job was completed. He first showed me a wide selection of leather swatches so we could find the perfect match. Walking into his shop felt like stepping into a showroom of fabrics and upholstery. What impressed me most is that he doesn't just repair interiors--he creates custom, one-of-a-kind work for your vehicle, whether it's seats, door panels, or other upholstery needs. With more than 30 years of experience, he combines old-school craftsmanship with exceptional attention to detail. His pricing was surprisingly affordable, and his customer service was outstanding. He took the time to meet with me, understand exactly what I needed, and develop a clear game plan before any work began. The quality of his work speaks for itself. His shop was filled with vehicles ranging from Jaguars and Mercedes to Jeeps and Volvos, all waiting for his expertise. It's easy to see why he has earned so many awards over the years. In just three hours of work--and only three days after our first meeting--my car looked incredible again. Cecillio is organized, professional, talented, and genuinely passionate about restoring vehicles to their best condition. If you're considering upholstery or interior repair work, I cannot recommend him highly enough. Once you see his craftsmanship for yourself, you'll understand why he's so highly regarded.

My interior looks like new. Definitely recommend this place if you're looking for auto upholstery.read more

Mad does not describe how i felt when he announced, "Nancy I think i just broke your chair." I was pissed beyond belief. He stood there rubbing that buddha belly of his exclaiming, "I shouldn't have eaten that piece of bread pudding yesterday." I held my tongue only because i need him to care for my dad. Had that not been the case I would have tore him up one side and down the other mad!!! I said, "this is coming out of your pay," in a fit of anger knowing I wouldnt charge him for his big fat mistake. So, I make my call to Carlos the Upholstery Man! The shop is located on the street I live on (copans road) just east of 441 (state road 7) on the south side of the road, first bay with a huge blue and white sign that faces copans road. Carlos is a jersey boy and a real nice guy and told me to fix my chairs wooden bottom it would cost $55.00. Thats fine with me. I have some other Mid Century Modern (well, from the 50's) Ficks Reed furniture that needs some TLC. Where will I be taking them? To Carlos The Upholstery Man's shop! The work will be done today or tomorrow which again is fine by me as long as its fixed. Thanks Carlos for fixing my dining room chair wood and I cant wait to have my patio couch re-strapped! Nothing lasts forever but with Carlos I can at least save the things I really love and that is my MCM furniture. Photos of the finished product to come. Have a broken seat or a couch that sags see Carlos and thank me later!

I explicitly told the owner, Carlos, that if the handles couldn't be fixed perfectly, to let me know so I could just buy new door panels. He assured me he could do the job. I dropped the car off on 6/23/26 and picked it up on 6/24/26. The driver's side was passable, but the passenger side looked terrible--the handle was completely misaligned and the leather was unglued and hanging off. When I politely pointed out the poor quality and asked for a price adjustment, Carlos and his wife completely lost control. They began yelling, cursing, and aggressively demanding full payment. Carlos threw a stool on the floor, slammed his hand into my car door to "prove" it was sturdy (which actually loosened the repair further), and tried to intimidate my wife and me. The shop itself was also full of cigarette smoke. This business is highly unprofessional and unhinged. Furthermore, be incredibly suspicious of any vendor who demands Zelle or cash, as you lose all buyer protection and credit card dispute options. Absolutely do not recommend.
