So did half of the metropolitan Orlando area! And all of them had coupons! Actually, there were about 15-20 people there. But it did seem like half of Orlando was there. You know what I mean. Anyway, a young lady working the register took my personal information so I could receive coupons from Great Clips in the future. She then told me to have a seat, since there would be a wait. Shortly after, a young lady named Elaine asked me to come with her to her station for a hair cut. There were several other customers waiting before me, but they were waiting for a favorite stylist to do their hair. As for me, this was the first time I have been here in years. So it did not matter who cut my hair. As long as it is a good haircut. And Elaine did a great job! Cut it short for these hot days of summer we are experiencing. And even got the eyebrows. No matter how often I trim the eyebrows at home, there is always that one wild hair that manages to escape inspection. And I always notice it after I am in a public place. DOH'! Elaine and the rest of the employees here are friendly and attentive to all of their customers. And this Great Clips location is always kept clean. Plus they have plenty of magazines to read while you are waiting. As Elaine rang me up, she pointed out that when I bring in my receipt from today's visit, I will get $2.00 off on my next haircut. So the next time I am grocery shopping at Freshfields Farm, Publix, or Lucky's, I may just stop in again. I asked for long layers since I did not want to do anything drastic, but I came in with a v-shape cut and left with a straight cut across the back. It was good to have the dead ends trimmed, but as someone with wavy hair, losing that shape made my hair look like a thick block. I would suggest mentioning if you want to keep the same shape when you go in for a trim. Overall, the service was friendly and fast, which I appreciated.
