What an amazing experience at Faith in Curls with the amazing Jarely Nuñez. We waited a long time…read morefor this appointment, (3months) but it was worth the wait. This pretty shop is located on a very quiet street in a small business strip that houses another hair shop. There is a small parking area right in front, which is plenty for the amount of businesses. When we entered the shop I was taken with how pretty and inviting it is. I could tell that time, love and dedication was invested. There is a small sitting area to your right with a sofa and two chairs, a small table with hand sanitizer, tissue, a side table with a plant & a magazine holder with a couple of curly hair magazines. To the left there is a stand for the financial transactions and immediately next to that a "selfie station" equipped with a pretty pink back drop and a huge ring light. Next to there are two additional more seats. Heading towards the back there is a huge mirror on a wall, across from that are two hairdryers and a bookshelf. The area where she works her magic is neatly organized with shelves for products, a table and her station was a neat mess of hair tools. The bathroom is clean and bright and in it was displayed the cutest curly hair commandments. Jarelly is extremely knowledgeable and experienced in all things curly hair and she as she said herself, "wants to be a light" so she listens carefully asks questions to assess needs and wants and then answered the one million questions we had and gave wonderful tips and tricks. She was very encouraging and reassuring. She was mindful of costs when selecting the best products for our individual hair needs and explained every step she was doing and what the goal was. We enjoyed our time with Jarelly. Her skills are like no other and her attitude is inspiring. When you decide to book an appointment, bear in mind she only books for two months out and her wait list is LONG, but she is worth it.
