I had an embolization procedure on my knee here, and for the first two weeks I felt significantly better. The swelling went down and the pain improved tremendously. Unfortunately, the pain has now returned almost exactly as it was before the procedure. I came back to the clinic because I was concerned and expected the doctor who performed the procedure to evaluate the situation and provide some type of plan. An ultrasound showed a significant amount of fluid around my leg, yet I was basically told, "I don't know what else to do," and advised to see my orthopedic doctor. The only treatment suggested was ibuprofen. I explained that I am experiencing significant pain with basic activities such as walking up and down stairs, sitting, and putting on my shoes. I work long hours on my feet, so this is affecting my ability to function normally. What is most frustrating is that after receiving good care initially, I expected proper follow-up when the problem returned. Instead, I left feeling dismissed and without a clear explanation, treatment plan, or meaningful follow-up. A medical procedure should come with appropriate follow-up care, especially when the patient returns with significant symptoms. Unfortunately, I did not feel that I received that level of care today. I hope the clinic takes this feedback seriously, because patients deserve to feel heard, evaluated, and properly cared for after a procedure.

After 10 minutes of waiting my name was called by a tall, Eastern European man with a slight accent. As I entered the the exam room Dr.P introduced himself and asked me what was the purpose of my visit. His approach was warm and caring, didn't seemed rushed. (Unlike my other experiences in other medical offices I am used to going to) Dr.P toke some tests and assured me I had just got a common cold and should feel better soon as long as I take the meds he prescribed me. Overall, my experience with the staff and the Dr. P was amazing. I highly recommend them! I know finding a good knowledgeable Doctor in Borough Park is hard to come by.

I think I finally found a gem of a doctor in my neighborhood…read more I was feeling a bit run down at work and decided that it would be a good idea to get checked out. After a quick Google search, I stumbled upon city care medical and gave them a ring. Person who answered the phone was very friendly and told me that they were open until 8 PM and that I could walk in anytime before that. I got to the office around 6:30PM and after waiting only a few minutes was seen by the doctor. Dr. P introduced himself and immediately I felt very comfortable with him. He was friendly, warm, and had an excellent bedside manner. I was able to explain my symptoms to him and never felt rushed. After our chat, I believe that he gave me the right diagnosis and was able to send a few prescriptions over to my pharmacy as well as give me a few alternative recommendations, which I appreciated a lot. It is now about a week after my visit and I'm feeling much better already. I am very glad that I found Dr. P and his staff. I will be coming to city care medical in the future and have already recommended this office to many of my friends who have an equally great experience here. Thank you guys!
