The staff on the other hand are not as helpful or friendly... his office staff is lacking customer service. Not really personable or give positive approach. Not so helpful when much needed. there are two women there. The previous office staff was more helpful. It's helpful when you get confirm calls for your appt however this office never did confirmation calls for me. I don't know if they have the wrong number. If appts are confirmed, we wouldn't have to wait 2-3hours in every appt. they most likely overbook and set 3 appts in one time slot. Terrible wait time especially for a follow-up or annual exam. I love dr Bajaj but the staff makes me want to switch to a different primary doctor. If it was just dr Bajaj it would be 5stars however the stars is for the office and they share the customer service, and the office is only as good as the Leader. I can't recall my issues before but I definitely had my complaints about the office staff.

What I do have an issue with is the main front desk person who does not know what she is doing. She charged me a $10 copay for a physical. I am not stupid, I've worked in a medical office before. When asked why do I have a co pay for a physical, she explains "well you have a stuffy nose and you brought up other issues, that is not a physical." ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? After I called my insurance and my insurance validated that I do not have a copay for physical. She refused to give me a refund. I contacted my insurance again and they called the office to confirm I do not have a copay, they hung up on my insurance company and when they called back apparently they were unavailable to speak and would call the insurance back. Unacceptable. Wonderful doctors however having a person be the frontline of your office who is not educated in medical insurances and how they work would bring down the reputation of your office.

I had an appointment at 3 pm. I made this appointment a month and a half ago because I hadn't caught my period for two months. THANKFULLY, my pcp did a blood test the week I called to schedule the appointment and said I wasn't pregnant, but stated I needed to keep my appointment to follow up so they can help get to the bottom of why I have not had a menstruation. Either way, I got there at 2:55pm, sat down and worked on my laptop, and waited until 4:10pm. I still wasn't even called into a room or asked to pee in a cup. I worked in a medical office before 30 mins tops should be the wait in the waiting room. I stood up, packed my work , and went to the front desk and crossed my name off the list. I told the girl an hour wait with the office full was ridiculous, and she gave a sort of a giggle. No apology, no explanation, I guess she doesn't get paid enough to give a f**k about patients and their frustration over the terrible service. I believe when your dealing with someone's health you should have consideration. Don't over book where you have patients waiting so long. You would think right?. Now I have to call my insurance and tell them to make sure these people don't charge for a visit I showed up to but was never seen and find a new doctor. I rather travel an hour to get to an appointment knowing I'll be seen on the spot, then walk 10 mins not knowing when the hell I'm going to be seen. Stay away from this place.

I'm sorry I didn't post this review of my treatment with Dr. David Posner, MD much sooner, since…read moremuch was going on in my life in the last few years since I saw Dr. Posner, on March 2019. I had been in past treatment for what had been diagnosed as asthma since 2019 when I was a patient at the Lenox Hill Northwell Medicine Clinic at 178 East 85Th Street, 2nd floor. There I saw various internal medicine RESIDENTS who report to their attending physician supervisors, who put me on Albuterol, and Flovent. I decided to make an appointment with a pulmonologist at my wonderful hospital health care system, namely Lenox Hill Hospital of Northwell Health. Dr. David Posner MD was highly suggested to me and then I did my own research on his qualifications, reviews on multiple sites, Yelp, Healthgrades, Vitals, Google Reviews, etc. Hence, upon meeting Dr. Posner I was amazed at his kindness, bedside manner, and listening skills! I explained all, and he set me up for a lung challenge test among a few other tests, and low and behold, I NEVER HAD ASTHMA NOR COPD!!! Dr. Posner explained all in detail, took his time with me, and is one of the best medical doctors at Lenox Hill Hospital of Northwell Health and their pulmonary clinic on the 3rd floor of 178 East 85Th Street, New York, NY 10028. I was further treated with professionalism by the front desk staff, which is extremely important, and the clinic is beautiful. Dr. Posner will always continue to be my go to pulmonologist at Lenox Hill Hospital of Northwell Health in any future issues regarding any pulmonary issues or questions. I highly recommend Dr. Posner!!!!!

The next time I visited was a few months later and she was re-reading my past results and told me I had gallstones. I asked her why didn't you tell me this information when I had the telehealth visit, she said she forgot to turn the page. The second time was when I was getting a checkup. She told me I was missing the last dose for a vaccine, I had only gotten two doses. The second vaccine I had taken was over a year ago. I told her that no one informed me that I needed a third vaccine otherwise I would have scheduled it. She said I was the one who needed to schedule the vaccine appointment. I was going to the doctor's office consistently so she failed to notice that I needed an additional vaccine for a year. She never apologized for her office's mistake or took any accountability. Her secretaries barely speak any English so it is hard to get anything done. For example, I was at a radiology office and Dr. Xu forgot to sign the referral order. Her office refuted that the referral was not signed. The intake person repeated what she said over three times. They eventually faxed over the referral but it was not signed. This incident wasted 30 minutes of my time because of Dr. Xu office's uncooperativeness. The last incident was that I asked her office for a letter with my medical conditions and treatments for work purposes. She told me that she has no responsibility to provide me any documentation. This is a clear violation of my hipaa rights.
