We drove 10 hours and made it to 5 states in one day. Spouse researched in the car and booked online. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage. Only tiny complaint is the tv is super small. Spouse watched Dukes Mayo Bowl featuring our Minnesota Gophers and it was laughable how small it was. Checked into this motel for four days when walked into the room, it was extremely small. The bed was smaller than a queen. The bathroom was a molded old-time bathroom with the slide across the door that had chipped paint on it. The whole room was nasty and the motel was not in a desirable location checked out immediately! This was sub par to most Sleep Inns! Spoke with Thomas the manager, and he refused to refund the four night prepaid reservation. This is how customers are treated at this motel. There's no Customer Service! Was attending wedding and the local said do not stay at this motel, bad motel and bad location.! read more

Jeane at the front desk is AWESOME. I'd driven 700 miles, and my first room had small children running around in the room above it. I asked Jeane for a top floor room, and not only did she accommodate me, she even carried some of my stuff!! She was SUPER nice about it. We stayed recently for a family reunion. Our experience was actually 5 star, except for the rude housekeeping man - I just can't let that go, more in a bit. We checked in with Trey, he was very kind and helpful. He apologized that our two rooms weren't next to each other because they were full with several events going on in Blackwell and neighboring Ponca City. No problem for us. I chose the upstairs room for my sister, her boys and me, downstairs for my 80 year old parents. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. I went downstairs early on Friday morning, December was working and did a good job keeping up with the breakfast area. My family trickled down later. About 8:45 I suddenly heard slamming and yelling and commotion. I looked and it was the cleaning man and woman getting ready to clean up. I just thought maybe they didn't realize how loud they were. At 9 a.m., I was still sitting with my parents, when the man came over, leaned on his broom or mop, and just glared at us. Literally standing there glaring! We went ahead and got up and left. We went up to get ready, my sister and her boys and I came back down and sat in the lobby. An elderly gentleman came off the elevator and asked December if there was a hospital nearby. She said yes, and told him where, and asked him if everything was okay. He asked if someone could help him get his wife in her wheelchair, he didn't want to call an ambulance. My sister had some EMT training, so she went up to help him. I'll spare the details, but they got her down to the car and headed toward the hospital. We gave December the heads up about extra cleaning needed in the lobby, elevator, carpet, and likely their rooms. December was very kind and calm during it all and began cleaning the lobby right away. Sister went back up to clean up, then back down for the rest of our day's activities (including lunch at Los Potros next door - delicious!!!). After a long day, we brought sandwich stuff to the breakfast area and had supper together. Trey was so hospitable and we offered him a sandwich, he politely declined but told us to make ourselves at home for as long as we'd like. He was busy cleaning and maintaining the whole time we were down there. We cleaned up and headed back to our room. Saturday was our family reunion day. My sister and I left early to go get ready. The housekeeping man did the same thing to my elderly parents as the day before - completely rude. Again, our visit would have been 5 star except for him. About 11:15 my parents called, upset that we were being asked to leave. That wasn't Sleep Inn's fault, we had mistakenly gotten rooms for only two nights instead of three. But, December was very sweet , tried to help us find rooms elsewhere, and gave us until 12:30 to get packed and out with no late fees. We really appreciated that such a stressful event was made as easy as possible and that she was so kind about it all. We got out on time, my parents later went to Shawnee (on their way home) and my sister and I both made the 4.5 and 5 hour drives home after our reunion. I'll stay at the Sleep Inn again, but I hope someone will coach the housekeeping man on how to treat hotel guests, or at least how to politely ask people to move if he needs them to. read more

For the money they charge, you would not expect much but I was gladly mistaken. I was only charged somewhere around $69. We got there late and the young lady behind the counter was super pleasant. Got us checked in quickly. The beds were super and slept well. The room was clean and spotless The breakfast the next morning was typical of Choice Rewards hotels and was all we needed to start us back down the road The lady serving the breakfast was a great conversationalist I tried to stay again on my way back North to Nebraska but they were full! Hey AAA rate of $58 a night! Best money spent in a long time- located right next door to a decent Mexican restaurant, subway and McDonald's- comfortable bed, pretty good WiFi, flavored creamers for coffee- and a variety of donuts for breakfast! Quiet- very quiet. Friendly staff, refrigerator working iron with an adult sized ironing board! Several hbo stations. Highly recommend! read more

Great price for an interstate hotel used for a quick sleep and free hot breakfast. Room was clean and no smell. Great water pressure. Extra tall shower head was a plus! Towels were soft. Bed sheets were a tad stiff (noisy) but the bed was just fine and multiple soft pillows. Breakfast was to be expected, but the availability of more than donuts is always a win for our family. McDonalds next door too. Would definitely stay there again on our Omaha to Austin travels. read more

Since I am traveling I found Sleep Inn & Suites online for a decent price of $89. When I called the number, a national call center, Alma said the best price she could find was $106 for 1 person and a very small dog. She said she sent the manager Alana a message with this price. When I arrived at the hotel they said they did not have my reservation and they had no rooms available, then they said that I had already checked in. Then they "found" a room and proceeded to charge me $135.00. Since it was late and every other hotel in the area had no vacancies, I had no choice. The room was dirty, the mattress very uncomfortable an all around a very unpleasant experience. Sorry Sleep Inn & Suites you FAIL!! read more

This hotel is clean & decently updated. The beds were comfortable enough. Staff, very friendly & accommodating. But the rooms are VERY musty/mildewy & have a terrible awful smell. We had to change rooms twice, trying to find one that didn't stink. We finally stayed in the third room because it seemed bearable enough, and it was 10:30 at night and we were all exhausted. But we should have just left to go elsewhere, we were miserable. My daughter & I woke up with the most frizzy curled hair mess ever, like you would expect to look like walking on the beach in Florida, not sleeping in a hotel room. We had the a/c set on "dry", and it was still just insanely muggy. That alone would have been doable, but paired with the horrid stink it was just terrible. If you're not sensitive to that sort of thing, you would probably like it just fine here. The hot breakfast was decent, could have had more healthy options but would be perfectly fine otherwise. We really wanted to like the hotel because they were such nice people, but reality was we couldn't wait to get out of there after breakfast. read more

We have stayed here 2 times in the last 6 months. The last time will be just that, the last time. The manager was rude and definitely dressed like he didn't care. The room was nasty and I left a comment card about it. Still nothing to this day about the room. I got a call from the manager asking why I would say the stuff I did. I had a great experience at this hotel - Brooke, at the front desk, was professional, courteous, and friendly. It was tough to find a room across Texas and Oklahoma because of work in the area, but I got lucky because I got an open, clean, and quiet room. I also had a chance to speak to the owner who was also professional and courteous. I did try a different place in town first and they tried to refer me to a friend of their's place out of town instead of local, but I'm glad I stayed.
