From the time we checked in they were so kind, getting us a room at 1am with no problems. Our room was spacious and clean, not a speck of dust! Our beds were soft and warm and comfortable and I repeatedly slept past my alarm! The shower was hot with strong pressure and plenty of fresh towels and quality soaps. The pool was clean and bathwater warm and the fitness center was fully loaded with two benches, a full wrack of dumbbells, two treadmills, and a bike. It was also stocked with fresh towels and purified water. The complimentary breakfast was hot and fresh with tons of variety and items to choose from and the staff kept in stocked and tidy even though the guests piled over each other getting to all the good food. The location is quiet and safe and well lit away from all the noise but you can get to some great shopping just a couple miles away. I highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely be back!

In over 50 years, the company has expanded to 150 inns in 30 states, under the brands of Drury Inn, Drury Plaza and Pear Tree Inns. The rooms and site are immaculate, facilities and amenities are well maintained, a complimentary breakfast is very extensive, and uniquely, they offer the free "5:30 Kickback" which is a happy hour with an extensive snack offering. First impression was the oddly-located single elevator in the middle of the lobby - yet facing away from the front door. Due to this and it being slow, the area becomes congested with those waiting for it, those coming through the hallway, and those accessing the breakfast area. Upon exiting the elevator, there was no signage and we had to guess our way down a long corridor that appeared to dead end...but that makes an odd jog around a staircase and then down another corridor. Although supposedly a non-smoking hotel, our room smelled like a smoker's home and my eyes began stinging since I'm sensitive to it. Upon calling the front desk - we were told there were no other rooms available. Based on the parking lot, I'm not convinced that was correct. We actually considered forfeiting our stay/payment and getting back on the highway, but decided to go on to bed. After being asleep awhile, a high pitched squeal began which I initially thought was the a/c unit. Eventually traced it to the mini fridge and ended up needing to unplug it so we could sleep. But no sleeping here! At 4:42 am, our neighbor's alarm started going off. The walls are thin & they would let the alarm go for loooong periods before hitting snooze. The first round went off solidly from 4:47 am to 4:53 am. This continued multiple cycles, with a brief break, and began again at 5:50 am for a couple addition cycles. I lost count, but 6+ cycles. Got up earlier than we intended, after such a night of broken sleep. We didn't attempt the breakfast, as the experience had been so poor already. Since there is a similarly outdated Drury on up the highway, I'm guessing this is one of the original locations...but it needs to retire from the brand. Was an unfortunately bad stay, and will have us rethinking our confidence in the brand.

The tiled shower is very large and inviting, and the shower-head was large and under full pressure. The shower is why this establishment receives a greater-than one-star rating. Now, for the rest: the bedroom was disgustingly musty and there was visible water-damage on the ceiling. The smell from the mildew was overpowering and infected everything. The room's air was so damp and humid that even the sheets felt wet! Had I not needed a room late at night while traveling, and had I other options, I would have left this place. In fact, I should have left and slept in my vehicle- it would have been that much better. The bathroom layout is atrocious. When you open the door, the toilet is right in front of you... in the middle of the room! There is hardly enough room to walk around the commode in order to access the sink. The sheets were stained and looked dirty. I felt the need to inspect the bed and surrounding area for bugs. One more very important notice to anyone foolish enough to lodge here in the future: the curtains in my second-story room could not be pulled fully shut. As a result, there was a gap between curtains which allowed a stream of bright light to cascade into the room from the adjacent shopping center... all night long. It was awful. The staff were polite, and the young girl with the face full of piercings listened professionally and attentively to my concerns while I checked-out of the hotel. I will never return here. I will never recommend this place. Oh, and before I forget... there is no coffee maker in your room. If you want a cup of coffee you'll have to wait until at least 6am when the staff will brew a pot downstairs. That was frustrating, because I was awake all night in this nightmare room and was longing to leave when my darling wife awake at 5:45 a.m., and it would have been nice to have a cup of coffee in the room.

We had the privilege of staying in the Presidential suite and it didn't disappoint. Every detail has been thought of in this grand room! If you want to entertain there is plenty of room. When entering the suite area there is a separate seating area and large bathroom separate from the room. The suite includes a full size ice machine, small refrigerator, bar, glassware, sink, microwave and large screen TV. The king size bed is so comfortable and overlooks a pretty park with a fountain. The bathroom is huge with a fabulous large bathtub. You can fill your tub full and not run out of hot water. I wish there had been some bubble bath liquid, maybe next time the hotel will provide bubbles? The bar and restaurant was fun and the service was great! We ordered the egg rolls, lobster and bang bang shrimp, large side salad and corn soufflé. Next time we will pass on the corn and bang bang shrimp, not our favorite. Everything was good just not what we were expecting. I would rather have the corn served with the pork chop on the menu because the corn is more like a dressing type dish and it is sweet with cinnamon. The bang bang shrimp was good but not memorable mainly because it was fried and the sauce served on the side. In the beautiful lobby there is a baby grand piano. Having someone playing would have been nice. The hotel is very very clean with free parking!! Everyone was friendly and willing to accommodate with a happy smile.
