I don't usually leave reviews, but I feel strongly that people should be aware of this experience…read morebefore coming here. I went in with a locked jaw and significant pain on the lower left side, expecting to receive care that would at least begin to relieve my symptoms. I was seen by Dr. Farshid Ariz. I had previously come across negative reviews about him at another location, but when I booked at the Northridge office, I was not aware he would be the one conducting my exam. To be fair, the doctor appeared knowledgeable and performed a thorough consultation. However, that is where the patient care essentially stopped. The moment the treatment coordinator stepped in, the entire focus shifted away from treating my pain and toward selling a HIGH-COST treatment plan. After nearly two hours, instead of initiating any form of relief as discussed, I was presented with a treatment plan exceeding $5,500. When I clearly stated that I could not afford that and asked to begin with the oral appliance the doctor himself recommended, I was told they would not proceed unless I committed to the full plan. The price was slightly reduced by couple hundred dollars as a "gesture," EVEN after I mentioned I did not expect anything over $1000 to relieve some pain but the expectation remained the same--pay thousands upfront or receive nothing. For context, I have over 15 years of experience in the dental field, working in both general and specialty practices. I am fully aware that the lab cost for a night guard-type appliance is minimal, and that fees should reflect clinical care--not be used as leverage to force patients into bundled, long-term programs! I was also told that part of the treatment would involve seeing a "specialist" via Zoom from their office regarding a possible deviated septum--but only if I agreed to the entire plan. No detailed breakdown of the treatment was provided, despite the significant cost and me asking multiple times to get a breakdown. In reality, addressing a deviated septum through a licensed ENT specialist would likely be more direct and cost-effective than committing to a year-long program of weekly visits and vague "therapy" that may or may not help! A dentist's responsibility is to help relieve a patient's pain--not simply give an opinion and then hand the case off to a coordinator whose primary role is financial. The treatment coordinator showed no empathy for my condition and made it very clear that the priority was securing the full fee, not helping me manage my pain or offering reasonable, step-by-step care. Despite multiple requests to begin with the appliance to get some level of relief, they refused unless I agreed to the entire treatment plan. That directly contradicts what was initially promised and, in my opinion, is both unethical and misleading. Based on my experience, this office operates in a way that feels predatory. The priority is not patient care--it is enrolling patients into expensive, all-inclusive programs with no flexibility. I left feeling that this is not a practice focused on treatment, but one focused on maximizing revenue. I will include the picture below of the appliance the doctor recommended--a simple plastic mouth guard to wear for 10 weeks. They refused to let me start with just this, and the coordinator claimed most of the $5,000+ cost was tied to this appliance.. ha ha... Honestly felt like they expected me to believe this small piece of plastic justifies that price. I can tell it for 100% this costs less than $250 from the lab! I cannot recommend this office, as stated in other reviews, RUN don't WALK!

Dr. Ariz was easily able to tell what the issue was from my first appointment and since then I have experienced essentially no migraines or jaw fatigue in the past 6 weeks. They coordinated pickup seamlessly after delivery, even after our delivery plans changed they were right there when needed and handled everything with care and professionalism. My capsules were delivered quickly, beautifully packaged, and came with clear instructions also check-in's and any questions! I found the experience incredibly positive. I noticed more stable energy levels, a smoother emotional transition postpartum, and overall felt more supported in my recovery. It gave me peace of mind knowing I was doing something intentional for my healing during those early weeks. For me, I can honestly say it was a worthwhile part of my postpartum care especially after a c-section. As first-time parents, we were completely overwhelmed by all the conflicting advice on the internet about sleep training. Our 4-month-old daughter was struggling with sleep, and we felt lost--until Sandra came into the picture. Sandra guided us for four consecutive nights and transformed the way we approached sleep training. From the very beginning, she impressed us with her professionalism, deep knowledge, and endless patience. She explained each step in a way that made us feel comfortable and confident, and she was so easy to communicate with--always calm, reassuring, and supportive. To our surprise, we began to see real results by the second night. By the end of the fourth night, our daughter was not only sleeping so much better at night but also learning to self-soothe. This has been life-changing for us as parents--finally getting solid rest ourselves has made such a difference, especially since we both have demanding jobs and long workdays. Sandra gave us the tools and guidance we truly needed, and we feel so grateful for her expertise. If you are a new parent in need of support, especially with sleep training, we wholeheartedly recommend Sandra. She was exactly what our family needed, and we couldn't be happier with the results!

They were not only professional and reliable but also incredibly kind, nurturing, and respectful of our space and parenting style. From the first night, they brought a sense of calm and reassurance that allowed me to rest and heal, knowing our baby was in the most capable and loving hands. Thanks to them, I was able to be more present for both my newborn and older child during the day. I also attribute the fact that I did not struggle with postpartum anxiety the second time around to this team. If you're a parent considering night support and feeling unsure, I completely understand--but I can wholeheartedly recommend Sandra and Helen. They made a world of difference for our family during a time when we needed it most.

She was already booked at the time (I needed an immediate replacement), but she spent that evening calling colleagues in her network that may be available to assist me. Danielle seems really sweet, but I truly wish we just got more out of our experience with her. Similar to what another posting had mentioned... I had really high hopes and was super excited to work with Danielle after the initial consultation. I had only booked 2 weeks of coaching which was $400. The services guide that was given to me says 24/7 support via phone, text, or email. I understand not responding to 4 AM texts but there were days that went by where I wouldn't hear a peep from Danielle. She pretty much ghosted us after week one. About 2 weeks after the initial two week contract, I received a phone call from Danielle apologizing, which I appreciated; however, I would've preferred upfront communication instead of feeling like I got scammed out of $400. She did offer to get my daughter in a good place for sleeping to make up for the fact that she was not really reachable during the two week contract but here we are again... a month and a half later and I haven't heard anything from her. No follow up or "how's your daughter doing with her sleep?" I've almost given up at this point because I still have a daughter who struggles with bedtime and still wakes at night, despite our best efforts and I'm out $400. Maybe she would be better when she's in person but I feel like the coaching package was a waste of money.

I kept having to chase her through text. She wouldn't text me sometimes for 1-2 days and this went on for over a week. If this is how she runs her business, it's prob how she runs her life and that is how it will be with me and my kids and I just won't allow that. I went with Balanced Sleep instead and the professionalism and communication has been night and day.
