Make sure before you come here for surgery you make sure that you verify with them the day before that they have all information correct. (Even if they call you days prior and try to confirm on their end) The front desk unfortunately messed up my procedure information and did not update the insurance properly on there end even though it was given days prior. I have never experienced unprofessionalism and lack of people doing their job EVER in all my experiences at Facey. Very upset and disappointed people can't do their job correctly. THE WORST PART IS THEY CALLED 3 DAYS BEFORE TO GATHER THIS INFORMATION!! So someone did NOT do their job correctly. Unfortunately my doctor uses this surgery center and has zero reflection on my specific care team. Center is clean and ample number of chairs for waiting and in the reception. There's a TV in the waiting area and also a rest room accessible to the clients. Parking is located right outside. Nurses seemingly are nice and accommodating. Only downside is the appointments where you're called to see if you can come in early an hour and half before your actual appointment, this is not really a big deal good thing we reside not too far from the place, other than that all is well and went smoothly. read more

I can't say enough how amazing this place is. I had an endoscopy done this morning. From the receptionist to my check in nurse to my OR nurse to my post op nurse, and even my anesthesiologist. All were absolutely amazing! They were all so friendly, accommodating, and just down right incredible. It kept my anxieties at an all time low. I think (hope) this is my last review of something involving the surgery on my foot. After looking, I see that I never posted a review and in looking at the surgery center there are not a lot of reviews. I am aware they do a number of procedures from talking to friends and people in general so I wanted to add a review to talk about the things I encountered. The only photo I have is after I got home with my foot bandaged up since there are signs everywhere saying any photos there are against the law to take. The lobby was fine, typical waiting room and during COVID-19 people were spaced distant and they seemed to practice safe procedures. When taken back I was alone because they didn't allow anyone but the patient to be there. I changed and was given warm blankets since they keep it cool there. When my procedure was delayed while waiting because my doctor was working on another patient I was given some magazines (not all old) to read since I didn't have my phone with me anymore. Before being taken into the surgery area the anesthesiologist came in and talked to me about any concerns and what I wanted during the surgery, meaning to be put fully under or twilight. The surgery was going to last 2 to 3 hours so I asked to be asleep rather than here my bones being cut on...yes gross I know but true due to the nature of the surgery. She was nice and said I would feel anything and she would be with me the whole time. When I got into the surgery center around a half a dozen people were in there buzzing around and doing things to prepare for me. I was asked to count back from 10 by the anesthesiologist...made it to 8...I think. Then I woke up. That is the part about surgery that I am okay with, you are told to count down and then black out and are done. After I spent some time waking up and my wife was called to come get me the nice nurses took care of me until she arrived. Everyone was friendly and took care of me while I was there. read more

So I'm finally about that age when it's time to consider having a colonoscopy. Yes, it happens to us all. I was referred by my PMD. It's close to home and the scheduling worked with this place. They reached out ahead of the procedure to check in and give instructions. Everything was set. When I finally arrived, on the glorious day of my first ever colonoscopy, the front desk staff was friendly. They had me fill out some forms and then wait to be called. Once I got called to the back, everyone there was so nice. The nurses made me feel at ease, so much so that they told me I should work there lol. Everyone was so professional and personable, which made my first experience totally easy. Bri, especially, stood out. She was chill, real and helpful. She even called and left a message for a follow up the next day. All in all, it was a pretty good experience. And I'd be very comfortable coming back for my next procedure. Who knows? Besides their billing department being extremely rude and arrogant on the phone, their billing staff is ignorant of their own policies. The billing staff needs to be consistent with their policies throughout the ENTIRE interactions with patients. The last thing I ever thought I would be writing a review about is on my colonoscopy yet here I am! lol I had never had one done before and honestly, I was quite nervous. When people say the worse part is the prep, believe them! I really was also nervous about the procedure. After checking and being brought to the "staging area" I immediately was calm and knew I was in the best of hands. The staff was so sweet, informative, approachable, funny and calming! I had my procedure (Colonoscopy) done at Providence Summit Surgery yesterday (3/20/23) in the am. I specifically requested from my PD at Kaiser that I wish to get the procedure done at this facility instead of Panorama City. My partner had her's done at PSS and she was very satisfied. She wasn't wrong, the service at PSS was top notch! From the time I checked in with Alicia, who was very welcoming and nice. To my pre-op nurse, Jessica who was very comforting to my OR GI, Kevin, Eddie, and Steve (don't remember Steve, I was probably out then) to Dr. Tashjian who came to see me before my procedure and explained to me what I was there for. He erased my anxiety/fear away. To finally, my recovery nurse, Emily, who was equally nice. The whole team had excellent bed side manners! I had to have surgery last year at this facility. I am so grateful to have Dina as my preop nurse. She was so kind, loving, attentive and efficient and it shows that she truly cares about her patients! She made me laugh and had such a loving touch in every thing she does that my anxiety and nervousness went away. She made me trust her right away. I feel this is is important for patients to feel especially when you are feeling scared. I knew I was in good hands with her! She was my angel! My recovery nurse was Wendy! Another angel! When I woke up from surgery, she was there and she took care of my every need. She made sure I was as comfortable as I can be. She was loving , attentive and so thoughtful. I still remember her giving me my first sip of ginger ale which I so needed. She saw how much I loved it and just gave me another can! As a patient, you don't remember all the details of the surgery. From the time we entered the building at 5:45 am for check-in, greeted by Saran, she was ready with our paperwork and very efficient at a stressful time. Everything was great. I especially liked the pre surgery requirement program led by Dina, where she explained the entire protocol from start to finish, which made the day of surgery seem routine! The location is convenient, the parking is easy and very accessible and the staff members are skilled and friendly. Communications are clear and easy, too. Not a place I would go to again for any surgical procedure. The pre-op area is so closed in and patients are basically piled in so close to one another where you can hear everything the staff and patients discuss. Where is the privacy? When I was taken back to my bed in pre-op, the sheets were stained which is something nobody wants to see in a "sterile" environment. The nurses are friendly but not very knowledgeable. My post-op nurse was not helpful at all. My husband had to ask her to help me with things that he shouldn't have to ask for because as a nurse, she should already know what will be needed after a surgery. I do not recommend this location for any surgical procedure. read more

Today I was scheduled to have an MRI guided surgery. I went through all the necessary pre-op necessities. This included a pre-appointment physical, a COVID-19 screening and self-quarantine for 3 days, antibiotics, fasting all night and today, and of course, the lovely, fleet enema. As I was in pre-op, literally seconds before they put the IV in me, they told me there was a technical glitch and not to put the IV in. After waiting around for 45 minutes to an hour, as I lay naked on the uncomfortable gurney, I was informed surgery was cancelled/postponed. Why? Because some moron didn't due their job go ensure that the CD was readable by the machinery there. Now, I will have to go through this all again. read more

My wife had foot surgery here and it was great! The staff in the front were very nice. Explained how the surgery would go and how she would feel afterwards. The anesthesiologist was very kind and answered our questions. I don't remember his name but he was very sweet and had a very positive vibe. I have had family have surgery at this facility and was recently, myself, admitted to Summit for surgery. The staff are always very friendly, helpful, and caring. In my case, I had a joint coordinator, Diane, whom I met with about 3-4 weeks before my scheduled surgery date. She was absolutely wonderful in explaining all the steps to take before the surgery. She even helped me get answers I needed about post surgical home health. She was there with me for the surgery and called me weekly after the surgery as well. She will be following up with me in a few months for a 6 month check in. The surgical nurses and recovery nurses are awesome. Patient, kind, caring, friendly. I had surgery to remove a kidney stone on November 30. The dr was running pretty late because he had a surgery that lasted longer than expected which I understand because I'd want him to take that extra time with me if I needed it. From the friendly receptionist to every nurse that talked to me...I was treated like they truly cared about me. They even asked if I wanted to move to a room with a tv since I'd been waiting.
