The bed is awesome; however, not happy with the warranty service. It has a 25-year warranty "but" in two years had trouble with one side not staying inflated. When I called for service, found out the bed was now on a prorated basis and I had to pay $207.37 for the parts and labor. As if that wasn't bad enough, Sleep Number doesn't let their service people take any part back with them on their truck except the motor. It took several calls to get a prepaid label sent to me. I gave up on having it emailed as it was always a no show. The labels eventually showed up in the mail but were for drop off only so I had to take to the UPS store or pay for pickup. Had to figure out how to get a tall box into my small car. The other part was left without a box so when I got to the UPS office, the agent said I needed a box. I purchased one for $6.27. This was a good visit The interaction with the Sales Rep was long but good. I did go back to Purchase a Mattress, expensive at that. I asked that the first Sale woman get the credit for the Sales. Once delivered and being set up, I was surprised to see that this very expensive mattress is an air mattress. The guys setting up the mattress said they hear this all the time. I was expecting a Solid mattress and not air. $$$$ for a air mattress. Once setup we couldn't get the App to work, I ignored it for a while. Then the other day opened the app to find it working. It doesn't live up to the hype for me and cost twice as much as the mattress I let them take out. read more

The store is fine, has good knowledgeable sales staff... but. We bought the most expensive bed available : $12,000. Installers showed up 3 hrs late (9pm) and installed my side of the bed 6 inches off the frame. I slept half way off the bed all night. Then, they used the taller legs (which we didn't ask for)...I had to jump into my $12,000 bed, and grab on so I didn't fall off. When we called customer support, they sent out people to fix it. 5 days later. Again, at 9:30 pm. By then the foam had broken down, causing a permanent tilt to the mattress and 4 inch gap between beds. (We have the split mattress) So I was still falling off the bed, and couldn't sit on the side, even though it was shorter. I called to have bed returned and refunded. $12,000 bed should NOT have this many issues. $12,000. Nice man on the phone refunded me, said people would call to schedule pick up. 3 days later, with zero sleep on this $12,000 bed... and no call. So I called customer service, because we are desperate to buy a bed that I could actually sleep on and needed a delivery date for after they picked up the $12,000 bed. They scheduled 12 days later!!! I asked again for next available pick up, because I'm sleeping in my recliner. And he gave me 6 days later instead of 12. So, for $12,000 I got a stiff neck, headache, exhaustion, and still no comfy bed. Oh. And we are STILL waiting for the expensive sheets we ordered from sleep number, since no others stay on. We've had the bed almost a month. Disappointed is an understatement. AND the voice activation is a joke. Is there a ZERO star or negative star review option?! read more

In November I bought an adjustable base for my 20 year old sleep number bed. I did not know that that the adjustable bases were not made by the sleep number company and the guy that sold it to me did not mention that to me so I thought the base would be the same high quality the bad had been. Boy was I wrong. The base, which I have had since late November/early December has been inoperable for about a month. The repair tech has been out twice with replacement parts and is due out again with yet another part. I have called the store and asked that they call me back but they haven't so they made the sale and I guess they are done with me and my base problems are my problems. The company that made the base Leggett and Platt, is not very helpful either. I called their rep and told them that the base is a lemon and should be returned and I should get my money back but no luck. I told the rep that the repair tech was supposed to be here last week, but the rep told me they don't work on weekends. I never even mentioned that because the last rep told my wife on Monday 2/12 that the repair tech would get the part in two days and and be out during the week. It is now Monday 2/19 and still no tech. The definition of Quality is no surprises. These people at the Sleep Number Store and at Leggett and Platt really let me down. read more

Less than 24 hours after my purchase, I receive a phone call from the store. Oh no! They forgot to charge me for delivery. They tried to fix, but customer service needs me to call them and approve the charge. Not happy, but mistakes happen, I guess. The salesperson reminded me that I should have received a ten percent discount on the sheets and mattress cover I purchased because I am a previous owner. So, reluctantly, I call customer service and finally speak to the correct department. Christina was very polite and helpful. I was not angry just not happy at the additional cost. She was friendly and asked if It was ok to charge me the extra 179.00 US dollars. My response was simple....it's not ok but I don't have a choice in this matter. She said ok and put me on hold. When she came back to the phone, she had the most amazing news. She was waiving the fee because it was their error. They were unable to offer me the ten percent discount because I had already used a coupon and they couldn't "stack" discounts. Wow is all I can say. I chose select comfort because I loved the first bed I purchased and the customer service was always top notch. I see that the company has not changed. They truly know the meaning of customer service. In this world, with the economy as it is, it is the company that stands out that will survive. This company is a diamond in the rough. You rarely find reps or companies who truly mean to provide service...(don't get me started on comcast, time warner.....another time). So my advice....if you want a superb bed and a company who backs their product and is loyal to their buyers for a lifetime....buy Sleep Number. They are the real deal. read more

I purchased a P5 mattress and base on 4/4/15. I was using a retail me not coupon code and I was treated as though they really did not want my business! The salesperson seemed totally confused as to how to process the order and took at least 30 minutes from the time I walked in till the time I had the purchase receipt. By the way I had already chose the mattress as I had previously visited the store. The salesperson called after I left the store and said he needed my credit card information because he had to run the order through a different system due to the discount code. Hmm strange but OK! I just checked my email and I was charged three times $2706.22!!! I only ordered one mattress. I called the store and no answer so I left a voice mail. Two hours later I have not received a call back! I contacted customer service and all they could tell me is they only see one charge so why was my credit card charged three times! I still have not found that out. I have to dispute charges with my credit card and go through that process! If you must have sleep number go to another location or order online! I will cancel my order due to the headache!! read more
