(1) Day 1 - Changed insurance companies. Sleep Remedies said they couldn't give me supplies because I needed a current RX. Called my doctor. Had one sent. (2) Day 2 - Drove to Sleep Remedies. At first, lady said they couldn't find the fax. Then found it, but said they couldn't help me because they needed "clinic notes." I bought a hose (wrong thing) and paid myself. (3) Day 3 - Made appoinemnt with doctor. (4) Day 4 - Saw doctor, who agreed to fax clinic notes. (5) Day 5 - Called Sleep Remedies. They told me that the clinic notes weren't in my chart. They might be on the fax machine, but there was nobody available to "look at all the faxes over there." Then the woman said something about "if people would do their job ...." I said "thanks anyway" and hung up. (6) Found another company to help me. Try Integris Medical Supplies. Sleep Remedies can't seem to do the job. Horrible experience. They take weeks to return calls and then bug you to death when they finally get to you. I was a little late for the appointment due to recently having surgery, and slow getting around, they want to reschedule. There was also no parking, so I had to wait for a parking spot. I think I will try another company, their other locations do not have good ratings, pretty sure this one will go the same way. read more

I've called twice and left messages to get my appointment set up. Finally got a hold of them this morning and she said they will get in contact with me when they can ..but it may take a few weeks. It's already been 3 weeks since my study. And now a few more weeks to get in. I can't believe it takes this long and they act like they didn't give a rip. PART 2: After my post today. I got two automated messages about my referral getting to them and they will be in contact on an appointment time. THEN..I get a call from someone that works there. She reiterated what we spoke about on my previous call to the receptionist. She then referred to my yelp post and said my post wasn't necessary. I told her I was disappointed it takes as long as it does to get in, she said it takes time to get all the documentation in to be able to set an appointment. I was more understanding until she asked me to remove my yelp post or they would have to reject my referral back to my doctor and I would have to use someone else. I was taken back to say the least! So I said your giving me an ultimatum to remove my post or you won't see me?? She said she didn't say that but yes, Remove it or see someone else. WOW is all I can say to that. I was expecting an apology and they are working diligently to get me taken care of...but it looks like I'll be going somewhere else! Becuse im making a follow-up post..Looks like the reviews are based on you not making a negative feedback or you won't be seeing them! Ill be in contact with my doctor about this incident and hopefully they will start referring to another clinic that doesn't give ultimatums if they make a concern on Google or yelp. SMH read more

Good luck ever getting a live person to talk to or god forbid having an email returned. Once you get your machine you're basically on your own. For a "health care" type of company they're not at all service oriented. read more

Bottom line: Do not trust them to help you, no attention to details. Wish I had checked here first. The sleep study location asked if I wanted Sleep Remedies to assist in getting my CPAP, "sounds good" I said. I called them and they told me I was on the list but there would be a wait. I asked if they needed any information, they told me they had everything they needed from the sleep study location. I called about every two weeks for the last 50 days...today, I was told that the notes say that 15 days ago there was a note that they can't work with my insurance. So, I've waited over 6 weeks only to be told they don't accept my insurance?! Now I have to get a different provider to assist and wait on the waiting list with them. If they don't even check insurance information, what kind of attention to detail do they have. Stay away. read more

Completed my sleep study on 09/07. They have never called to arrange a time to pick up my equipment. I've contacted them twice; my Dr's office has contacted them twice. Zero out of five stars. Just to follow up: in one afternoon's time Ventilate OK received all of my paperwork and have begun to process my insurance documents. They've called me twice to update me in less than 24 hours. The tech was nice here but the chick at the front desk had something to be desired. After speaking with the tech who said I could come later in the week to get the chip downloaded, the girl at the front said, "her message said otherwise and we have to have a tech here to download the information". I would give 0 stars if it were an option. Terrible at returning calls! Beware of giving them a credit card for auto pay! The billing department is messed up & good luck getting a timely return call. I have never got a live person when I've called. I leave a message & it may be days or more to get a call back. The training on the new Cpap was weak at best. Had to figure it out on my own. After waiting WEEKS and NOT getting phone calls returned in a timely manner and having them LOSE paperwork from my Doctor, I finally got a real appointment. They DEMANDED payment up front and I told them I was not going to pay until I had received the CPAP machine and was trained on it. They DEMANDED payment again before I entered the room-o-machines, I paid. Having already been upset with what I had been put thru already the lady sensed my mood and said "We need to reschedule it till you are in a better mood." I said to continue and she went thru my sleep study test results. Twice I asked for a copy so I could make notes, and twice she refused stating she would later. I demanded again and got my paper. All was basically OK until she had me put the head garb on myself and the bands had wrapped themselves up. She grabbed the bands and pulled it down causing me to yell from the pressure of the bungled bands and she left the room saying she wasn't going to continue. A man entered and said I had to leave immediately. I was not able to get the head garb off and mumbled that I could not get it off. He stated he was not going to touch or help me. I struggled with it and thirty seconds later it landed on the table. "I am not leaving without my refund," I said with him saying they could not do it and that I should leave. I said 'no' demanding it and sat down. I got the refund and left. read more

Please, please, please. If you have any other choices to choose from, use a different company. Initial contact resulted in a 3 week delay playing phone tag. You will be lied to as in the first couple of months, I was told after my first complaint, "it will take a week or two to get used to the machine", since I found it didn't work as expected. After a month I called back and received a new answer of, "it can take several weeks to get used to the machine". And again, "it can take several months to get used to the machine". It's apparent that phone tag is a game with this company and there will be no consideration of distress. I scheduled a meeting with the office manager and the sales tech. I was able to get through to the sales tech, I stated, "I don't think the machine is working properly". In my explanation to the sales tech I told her that their machine only worked a couple of days and then there was no performance afterwards. After telling the sales tech "the machine only worked for a couple of days", she says, "so, the machine only worked 3 weeks?" I hung up the phone due to the obvious lack of communication skills. A test was scheduled on the machine which was never accomplished and my doctor was called to OK changing pressures on the machine by the office manager, I packed up the machine and delivered it to the office in which a hand reached out to shake mine and I declined as I had had enough of the constant BS to include the receptionist, she didn't always answer the phone either and it's understandable as she was usually on the computer doing something other than answering the phone. You are expected to leave a message and it could be a week before anyone from that office returns your call. It's the least service oriented company in which I have ever dealt. A bill comes and only the machine model was listed in the billing, so here we go again, I'll be calling and playing phone tag again in an attempt to identify the reason for billing. There is such an attitude of "I don't care" from this company it will frustrate you to no end. At this time, another sleep study was ordered in which I have heard nothing of a report after several weeks and nothing has changed with the machine. Mike Brown read more

This place is really nice, with a very professional staff, nice part of town...but what they don't tell you is that because they are so high-end you're insurance won't cover most of their services, leaving you to pay their hefty bill. One time after I had ordered supplies, they even called me back to let me know that they had found out from my insurance company that all the costs would go to my deductible and wanted to know if I still wanted to proceed. read more

I agree with the previous comment. If you are approaching retirement and the start of Medicare, or if you are a veteran with Medicare and Tricare for Life, when you get to 65, this company will drop you because their "owners have decided not to accept Medicare." They didn't tell me this when I bought their CPAP machine two years ago. Who wants to go through the hassle of having to find another provider? Nice appreciation for a veteran. read more

i was given a payment schedule regarding a cpap machine, (for amounts not covered by my insurance) .. when the bills started coming in they were MUCH higher than i had been advised earlier. (19.00 became 135.00 , etc etc etc).. they assume that folks will just pay up and never ask questions i guess. im still fighting with them , their explanations make NO sense.. even my insurance company can't figure it out. read more
