She also looked out for my partner which I really appreciated, ensuring he ate and rested. Afterwards we also used Jenn's overnight doula services to care for our infant and she was just as fantastic with him. That way you end up inadvertently meeting the different doulas. We went with Cara. She has a ton of experience and super chill vibe. Our hospital was not allowing extra visitors due to COVID so we signed up for a virtual doula service. She met with us a few times before the birth to review questions, birth plan, and provide support. She was also available via email for random questions that came up in between. The day of my labor I reached out to her as needed and she guided me through some of the decisions we had to make. Her support made it so that I could better advocate for myself and my baby during my labor. She was 100% supportive of all my decisions and in the end I ended up having a beautiful and quick birth. I am so happy we got a doula and recommend it to anyone no matter what type of brith you are planning on having. I found the groups to be more helpful towards the beginning of my pregnancy, especially as it was a time that COVID was just ramping up. The only issue is that the people in group vary from week to week. I think it would be nice to be able to connect with the same group from week to week so there is some continuity.

I was really sad to see the negative review from 2012 as that is not at all my experience with PEP…read more I see she's based in Baltimore and PEP is based in Kensington, so I have to wonder if she's actually attended PEP programming vs a free intro or talk at a PTA kind of thing. And, it would be hard to implement one or two PEP ideas if there are bigger relationship issues at hand. You'd need the core courses at PEP to tackle those challenges, definitely not a talk here and there. My experience over the course of the last 10 years taking classes with PEP has been excellent. The philosophies and tools that I learned there have been invaluable in raising my now 19, 16 and 12 year old boys. My 16 year old actually told me this year that he was glad we were his parents. When I asked why he said he's hearing the craziness his friends are dealing with and he's so grateful he doesn't have the same issues...and I thought, thank you PEP! The organization has expanded to online programming and recently won awards for the Master Classes. I took both Master Classes and enjoyed them. That said, I love the in person interaction and comradery of the in-person classes, especially the multi-week ones where the group can practice new skills and come back together to share their mis-steps and their successes. PEP makes parenting make sense and gives highly effective tools to understand our kids behavior and to parent with love and respect. Highly recommend!

Eventually they did tell us that they don't and can't confirm that. The candidates we were connected to seemed great, but the interaction with the agency left a sour taste in our mouths. We felt like we'd be given the runaround whenever we had a hard question for them, which isn't a good way to start off. Leaving this review just so people know the agency believes they can't confirm vaccination status of its providers or require that providers be vaccinated. The founder said very few people get the flu shot anymore - big red flag! Edit: Since leaving this review, the company has contacted us implying that our negative review might come to the attention of our employers. I'm curious to see their response! What an experience. Buyer beware. Edit 2: Their reply here says they never said they'd contact our employers. Here is what they said, verbatim: that we would "receive a public response from us where it's discoverable by your employer and anyone else that may want to help your family in the future." We're smart enough to read the implication.

It was in October 2025 and until today I have not received my money back despite at least 5 times I called them. Every time I called, they said that there is a credit and they will put a note so the manager can issue a refund check. Have not seen the check!! Lesson learned do not pay their estimate cost until you receive the EOB from your insurance.

You should see how much the bill was to insurance! All billing-related matters were cleared with my insurance and with me before providing any services, and I appreciate the due diligence and transparency. At arrival, you pull a ticket at the automated kiosk at the gate to activate the gate arm to allow passage. There was no one in the booth, but I didn't expect anyone to be. Parking prices are clearly posted, but Comprehensive Sleep Care Center validates your parking to $0. There is a lot of surface parking (no garage) and the lot is well lit and at the corner of a fairly well-traveled intersection, so it's not creepy or spooky at all at night even if there wasn't a soul in sight. The exterior of the building is swanky, clean, well maintained, adequately lit, and has upscale decor and vibe. Getting in wasn't too easy, and Datawatch Systems, the vendor that provides after-hours door security and access to this building, had inattentive personnel both times I connected with them by pressing the button at the front pedestal that houses ADA push pad (incredibly long wait with the phone ringing over and over) and then when someone picked up, they sounded like they had just woke up. This was 9 PM. The interior was also very clean and well maintained. There were some cleaning staff that just watched me (probably not permitted to allow strangers to enter) as I struggled with getting someone on the phone to let me in. The lobby of the office is fairly small, with seating for about 5 or 6 people. An attendant came out right away, named Yitz. He was cordial, attentive, professional, and provided clear and confident answers to my questions. You first get your parking ticket validated. Then you are asked to take a COVID rapid test and test negative before you're permitted to continue. The process on-site and next steps were clear. I was assigned one room for the sleep study and a different room for the titration study. Both had their own thermostats, a fan, a TV, a nightstand, an arm chair, a queen-size bed, and plenty of blankets. I waited about 15-20 minutes for the attendant to come hook me up with all the wires for the first study and about 45 minutes for the second study. There were others getting similar studies done, but in their own rooms so privacy is maintained. When you're connected to all the electrocardiography wired pads attached to wires on your legs, chest, and head as well as the strain gauges to measure your breathing (takes about 20 minutes), it's incredibly uncomfortable and awkward to move around so it is quite a challenge to fall asleep but evidently I did well so it might not be as bad as you might think. You could use your phone or read a book, but really the best path is to go to sleep and as normally as you can. In the morning, the technician removes all the pads/wires and if your chest and legs are hairy, hair will rip off. You have the option to shower on site (they provide towels, soap, and shampoo) or just go home. The liquid adhesive that goes on your head to measure brain activity is nasty and feels disgusting on your fingers, so I recommend showering on site. Make sure your parking ticket is validated, or else risk paying $10 to exit. As of mid-December 2022, they don't require masks anymore, but feel free to wear one if it makes you feel more comfortable.
