From the days when he could barely lift his head, to learning to walk, talk, sing, and share stories about his day, we've watched him grow into a happy, curious, and confident little boy--all thanks to the loving care and nurturing environment of Family Academy. He not only learned language and knowledge, but also good manners and a true love of learning.The teachers are absolutely amazing--kind, patient, and so easy to communicate with. My son is a slow and picky eater, yet they always gave him extra time and gentle encouragement. They care for each child as if they were their own. The administration team is just as wonderful; they know every child by name and engage with them warmly every single day.What makes Family Academy so special is not only the quality of education but the genuine love and attention they give to every child. Under the center's care, my son truly blossomed. Well before we expected, he was singing songs to us, identifying letters, counting, and more. And most indicative of this center's awesomeness--my son was always so happy to go to school. It also meant a lot to me that the staff and teachers made genuine, impactful efforts to include our family's culture alongside mainstream culture, for example welcoming us to send in books about our holidays, directly engage the class in activities, and share ideas for the teachers to use. Being a new mom, and trusting someone else to take care of my child while I was at work was very hard. However, Mrs. Champa and Mr. Yousafzai ensured me that my son was in great hands and made the transition a lot easier. They provide updates of my son through out the day, as well as send photos of him so that I can ensure that he is doing ok. They also plan really fun activities and parties for the children for the holidays which I love. My son is always happy when we drop him off and pick him up. The teachers are incredible and loving. The kids are being taught to be kind and inclusive. There is rarely a dull moment for the kids at busy bees - at pickup my kid often asks me to please come back a little later! They have ballet, Zumba, karate, yoga, Spanish class, music class. Fridays are special pizza days, and they get to do show and tell. Right now, they're taking care of caterpillars, and we have to peak in the planter every morning to see if their flowers have started to grow yet. There's also a monthly Parent's Night Out where your kids will get dinner, snacks, playtime, and a movie while you get a date night. My son is also in the infants room. The teachers are so kind and loving to him. He has rarely ever cried at drop off and I get constant updates with pictures and videos in the app. They're always on the move with reading, playtime, drawing, outside time, snack time. Each kid is met where they're at and are still involved in the activities - from kids who can't sit yet to early walkers. I love walking down the stairs towards his room and I can hear him and his teacher having full blown 'conversations' before pickup. Though there are many other great daycares around the area, happy hearts was the most affordable for us. While that was the initial draw, we soon learned that the teachers at happy hearts were really energetic and happy to be there. Our toddler son loved his teachers ms. Amy and ms. Veronica. He learned so many songs from them and would talk to us about how funny his teachers are and how nice all of his friends are. He is that one kid that won't participate in a group activity or a group circle time... but he quietly is absorbing everything in the back. Ms. Amy and ms. Veronica accepted him as he was and patiently worked with him. We miss them so much. Literally almost teared as we said goodbye. We sent our daughter from 10 weeks. I was so sad to have to drop her off at such an early age, but I had to go back to work. The infant room teachers are all so calm and nice. We especially loved both ms. Hina's... our daughter has major stranger danger and she would go to ms. Hina every morning with two arms stretched and a huge smile. The infant room is always so calm and you can tell the teachers are sweet and truly love babies. She never had a diaper rash and she never got sick. All in all, we recommend. Sure, it doesn't have the super intense curriculum or high tech security that other more expensive daycares have, but the kids are cared for and my kids really loved their time at happy hearts. Every time we got on Centreville road, my son would ask excitingly, "are we going to happy hearts?" I would recommend it if you're looking for an affordable place that cares for kids. If you can afford more expensive places, then sure go for it. But this one fit our bill and we did not regret our decision one bit! We can only hope to find a daycare as good as happy hearts here in California.

No one likes spending a bunch of money on repairs but I'm very confident that the recommendations Jary made were sound and correct. He did not attempt to upsell me at all, which is greatly appreciated. (The estimates Gabriel sent did include options for replacing the unit, but that wasn't necessary at this time and there was no pressure to do so.) I will continue to call them if we have issues in future with our HVAC system.

I love Goddard's use of the Tadpoles app where I get daily pictures and updates about sleep and activities like the babies going for a ride outside in the buggy, playing with bubbles, reading circle etc. I couldn't imagine better teachers, there are two for the six infants and there's a shift change midday. They're all extremely capable and work a lot to help develop motor skills (i.e. encourage tummy time, sitting, crawling). They care so much about the babies and clearly love their job. It's such a relief to have a safe and loving place to drop our guy off at everyday! Great care is expensive, but it's worth it for my family. Claim a spot early, we signed up about six months in advance!

It's hard enough knowing that you have to leave your child over the course of a day, but to know that you have the best care possible for your child during the day helps alleviate so much of that stress. The Center does not just say they love children, what they want to do to improve or how the work aligns with the mission, but they show EACH of these things, with intention, every single day. And while I'm talking about the overall feel and experience of the center, there are so many additions that really take it to the next level. The offerings of ballet, karate, an amazing plyometrics program, and music, all of it offered from phenomenal external entities as a formal class that help keep your weekends, a little more open. And for more ease, if you struggle to pack lunch every day, a catered lunch option is available. There is differentiated instruction that allows for all students to feel safe and seen. And did I mention the engagement and love of teachers, and administration? The list goes on. TLDR: There will never be a center as phenomenal as Rock Spring Children's Center!

I felt like Goldilocks, one was just too big, too full of kids and not enough oversite; one was too small, and The Children in the Shoe in Olney... Well that one was just right. Within mins. of starting our tour, my sweet little girl was fast asleep in her carrier. We had found her home away from home. She began in the infant room and has been happy transitioning through her development phases. Now my daughter is in the 3's classroom and I am just as happy with the Shoe as I was during our tour. The teachers have been amazing, transparent, and loving. They communicate, are informative and best of all responsive. The directors to everyone who attends the front desk, each and every one of them are welcoming every single day, how is that humanly possible?! When you step inside, it's a small community. It is very common to find parents, teachers, children, and staff greeting each other, and having short quick conversations. During one of the many conversations that I had with my daughters 2's teachers, they mentioned that her speech was delayed. I loved that the teacher shared her concern and didn't hold it for a more formal parent / teacher conference. Since then, the teachers and staff have been extremely accommodating in welcoming her speech therapist into the classroom on a regular basis. It is home away from home! My little one has had her fair share of bumps and bruises, I know that with every bump, scrape and bruise she gets, she receives twice as many hugs and cuddles. At the end of day, during pick up the teachers make it a point to actually see the parents, talk to the parents and work daily to create a positive connection with the patents. If they are willing to do that after a day of teaching and loving their students - they must be super heroes. I know after a long at work, all I want to do is go home and relax.

Until I met Stephanie! she put me at ease from the get go and out with with all of my nerves from day one and with each classroom change until my daughter graduated. She was even there for me when my mother passed away. the shoe is a family that i am happy to be a part of and I hope it continues for years to come. I have two very happy well adjusted kids and their daycare plays a roll in that. Each teacher seems happy to be there and really loves each child and you can see that just by walking around. We have noticed that many other families have also been going to Childtime for years and have been sending multiple children here as well - I think this says a lot about this daycare and how great it is. The…read moreprincipal and teachers are very loving, caring and full of energy, especially Ms Bionca, Ms Suzy, Ms Lorena, Ms Nicole, Ms Isabella, Ms Briona and many more! They took so much care of my girls, always ready to share about statuses, progress, issues, and tips/guidance with parents! Originally we selected the school because it was just walking distance from home, but then we realized how convenient it is. it offers nutritious breakfast, lunch and snacka, have before and after care, and never close (except federal holidays)! that's critical for busy working parents! My girls loved their teachers so much and a lot of enrichment programs offered in school so we don't have to send them elsewhere to take dance, Karate, or soccer! lots of holiday events and even swimming/water fun during the summer! High recommend to all!
