Cool store with lots of trendy, clothes, shoes, hats, souvenirs. For people that might be coming to Northern Michigan for the first time and end up doing some of those activities and driving up the highway, it makes for a pretty cool piece of memorabilia. The workers were friendly and helped us out with some questions, made the process easy. Prices are a little higher, but because it's such a specific thing it doesn't surprise me.

The secret garden is dog friendly but they cannot come into the little shop. They ask that you clean up after your dog as good owners should and that you don't wander through the vineyard as they are constantly working there. The garden is beautiful. So many lavender plants and other flowers. Although we came at the end of August, we still saw a lot of beautiful flowers. I came in by myself to get us drinks. They have a dog bowl outside the gift shop so my pup was able to get a drink (though we also brought some with us). There are some seating area with umbrellas for shades, a cute gazebo and more lavender fields. The gift shop sells all sorts of lavender goods (soaps, lotions, food items, etc.) They also have ice cream. I got a chardonnay because it was unoaked and the only white wine I would have drank without buying an entire bottle. I got my husband a hard cider. I believe they also make their cider. She told me I get to keep my wine glass and gave me a paper bag to store it after I finish drinking my wine. We walked around and enjoyed the view, took a few pictures with my pup and the beautiful surroundings and sat around and finished our drinks. What an enjoyable experience and it was free! Next time I find my place in this area, this will definitely be a repeat stop. And if you haven't been, you should go and enjoy the scene.

They have beautiful sage and lavender plants along with a wide selection of products for sale with these two plants. There is a small selection of wines and ice cream pints available in the shop. If you order wine you get to keep the wine glass which adds great value to the experience! All the staff were super welcoming and friendly. There is a super cute seating area with great views of the vineyards as well. The overall ambiance is calming and relaxing. Definitely stop by this place while visiting Brys!

Cool lighthouse out on the Peninsula here in Traverse City. Great views of the lake and if you go…read moreinside on the first floor, they have a gift shop as well as a little museum that has a video that tells you about the history of the Traverse City area, he lighthouse and the Peninsula. Beautiful views, you can walk down to the beach and actually walk down into the lake if you want to. You can go up to the top of the lighthouse, there is a small fee of eight dollars for adults. We chose not to do that. Still a cute little house. It also sits on the 45th parallel, which is the halfway point between the North Pole and the equator, there's a sign out front that demonstrates that as well. It is certainly worth a 20 minute drive up the Peninsula, especially if you stop at a winery or two as you are coming or going.

(Moved and refurbished.) Certainly quite a drive down the peninsula, though you get a couple of good views on the way if you take the main highway up. On the way back, I suggest routing yourself on the west shore of the peninsula - you get a long drive on a separate path with some more good views.

The saleswoman was so friendly, and she helped me find what I was seeking, and then she told me about all the different stones, their histories, and these little facts that only someone, who truly cares, knows. It was a Saturday afternoon, and I was the only one there, so we talked, and I shopped. It was such a great experience, and I learned a ton. Thank you for a truly great experience. I've already told everyone to visit you, and I will be back too.

I wanted a little bit of everything, for sure, but ultimately exhibited some rare self-restraint and only purchased a cute M-22 hat! :) I wear it all the time now!
