I really enjoyed this place. Halloween is my favorite holiday & I love hayrides & haunted houses. The tickets were pretty reasonable, but If you are going on a Saturday night, I recommend paying the extra for the RIP passes, to skip the lines. We waited over an hour for the hayride & haunted house. The field was a shorter line since it was around 11 pm when we got to that attraction. The hayride was just ok. I sat on the right side and all most all the interactions & scenes were on the left side. I really wish they would spread that out a little more in the future. I absolutely loved the haunted house, it was very interactive & each area was a scene and you got to really see and appreciate the decor, instead of just walking thru quickly. The field was just as good as the haunted house. You walk around for a good amount of time & go thru small scenes & the scare members are great. They do have big bon fires, and bands. Plenty of port o potties. There were also a decent amount of food stands, we did not get a chance to get any food but it looked and smelled delicious . I probably at one point was here before, but I am going to make it a point to come back here next year with a RIP pass.

Sleepy Hollow is brimming with atmosphere, which is essential to a good haunt. I worked in LA in SPFX alongside some of the best in the buisness, so I've seen my fair share of make up and props. Here are my thoughts on this little PA gem. 1. The House in the Hollow (Grimm) is amazing. The set, props, actors, sound...and trickery is top notch for a local place. They rely on those key ingredients to create an unsettled mood, and internal angst. You can easily believe you are in a haunted place. They do not employ a bunch of cheap jump scares ( which in my opinion ruins any attraction if over done.) Also, the theme of the house is consistent. It's a Haunted Orphanage from beginning to mostly end with only a few deviations. Example- nothing is more lazy than mixing in clowns, werewolves, chainsaws and all the other humdrum crap if it doesn't fit the theme. The house remains my favorite year after year. 2. Field of Fright- okay, so it started off very goofy (again, actors trying too hard with some kind of Game of Thrones type deal which was wholly out of place) After I was done laughing we moved on. I took my time, navigating through the tall corn. I love the animatronic werewolf, even though it needs a little TLC. There was a demonic childs room which was nice, some of the actors were very good because they were quietly slipping in and out of the stalks. Now, THE MAN IN THE BUS! For the first time in all my years of attending haunts, I felt real unease. This man knocked it out of the park. A random placed school bus, creepy lighting and him in the drivers seat. It was the herky jerky movements followed by his animated expression as he implored us to GET ON THE BUS. The whole set up was perfect. 3. The Hayride- What used to be my favorite, with the Thresher and surprise 18 Wheeler cab, has been downgraded to too much emphasis on the overdone cage climbing and screaming. Again, jump scares to me are like lazy writing or a washed up Atlantic City Prop Comic. The best is always authentic. The Headless Horseman- amazing. The worst- I hope you aren't paying for those fire performers. If so, save the money and add more into the dead space in the attraction. So much more can be done at the stops by adding more atmosphere. The covered barns beg for more, esp the Plant Monster room. Think In the Mouth of Madness! The Thing and less on the climbing kids in Ghillie suits. The upside to the hayride is the cemetary. I would concentrate more on that area, as well as the Drive In and Toxic site. All great in concept and atmosphere but just need a little more. And tell the driver to slow down! We were racing through with barely seeing much of the good stuff, only to stop too long for the masked kids climbing all over the cages. All in all, I will also chose this place because they have what the others dont. Well done atmosphere and moreover, proper use of it.

The best one around, I was blown away by the detail of the haunted house and corn-maze. Absolutely loved it here.

By far the best theatrics and design I've seen in a haunted attraction, it was a lot of fun!

I am an avid Halloween Haunt enthusiat. Every year my Buddy and I select a place to enjoy the sets,…read morethe scares and have a blast. This year we selected Hotel of Horror in PA. The YouTube videos looked great and tickets were purchased. After our pre-haunt meal we arrived. The place was lit up nicely, creepy music playing. The actor who gave the instructions was on point, he was creepy, funny and into the festivities that awaited us. So this is by no means a bad review, however, there was just not enough actors to deliver scares. The sets were fantastic, using all the standard fare that all the great places use. That being said, again, just not enough actors within the haunt. We walked through several scenes without seeing an actor. For the price of the tickets (which are on par with much larger places like Penhurst Asylum and East State Penitentiary) Hotel of Horror just does not stack up with the big boys. Would we return? Probably not, for the money, would most likely return to one of the big boys!!!

Open rain or shine with a covered wait line and free parking. Don't let the weather scare you. That's our job! Our revamped ticketing process gives you less time in line and more time in the attraction. The Hotel of Horror and Altered Nightmares Halloween Attractions are both housed inside the legendary Lake House Hotel intertwined and breathing next to one another, sharing organs and a circulatory system like conjoined twins. The sinister subconscious of the Hotel of Horror feeds off the dark energy that stains the lumber skeleton of this once pristine mountain resort, while Altered Nightmares celebrates the chaos that grows stronger as each soul travels through its decaying halls and abandoned rooms. Unlike some other local (and much more expensive) 'ghost tours' that feature costumed actors who jump out of the bushes to scare participants or focus solely on the macabre, Ghost Tours of New Hope offers a more historically-based tour that emphasizes stories of eerie paranormal happenings in this small town on the Delaware River. New Hope is a quaint, historic town on the Delaware River, located approximately halfway between Philadelphia and New York City, featuring art galleries, a range of casual and upscale dining choices, eclectic shopping boutiques, and the Bucks County Playhouse that attracts talent from Broadway and Hollywood. The charming hamlet is often called one of America's most haunted towns with a history dating back to the American Revolution when Aaron Burr allegedly fled to New Hope after dueling with Alexander Hamilton (and some say never left..). Ghost Tours of New Hope offers one-hour walking tours every Saturday night at 8pm from June through November and Friday nights starting in mid-September through Halloween. Tickets are $12 (as of October 2025) and may be purchased in-person from the tour operators with cash or Venmo approximately 30-60 minutes before the start of the tour. There is one route that runs along Ferry Street and one route that runs along Mechanic Street and the Delaware Canal Towpath. Both walking tours begin adjacent to the Parry Mansion Museum and the historic cannon on the corner of Ferry Street and Main Street. Wear comfortable shoes, dress appropriately for the weather, and consider bringing a flashlight as the sidewalks and streets of New Hope can be very uneven. Gratuities are optional and our guide didn't push for them. We'll definitely be back soon for the other route!

New Hope has some of the most haunted sightings and buildings in a 2 square block and in the country. ( The tours are every Saturday night from the first Saturday in June up to and including the Saturday before Thanksgiving. In the month of "October only" you can also find tours on a Friday night besides the usual Saturday night. The tours start at 8p and meet on the corner of Main and Ferry Street next to the Parry Mansion Museum. You don't need a reservation. I just walked up and there were two ladies taking money and giving out a paid sticker. Then you just line up with the rest of the tour people. PLEASE BRING CASH! They will also do private tours with advanced notice. My group had over 30 people in it. I suggest getting there at least 30-40 minutes before. The cost is $12. The tour itself is about an hour. Make sure you wear a sturdy pair of shoes. You will be walking down stairs and on dirt paths, and near a canal. These tours have been going on for over 42 years. New Hope has such a fun vibe. Everyone was excited for this tour. Parking in New Hope is a bit tricky. If you can't find street parking, I suggest parking a few blocks away in one of several lots. You will do a lot of walking in New Hope. The Staff was all very friendly, knowledgeable and informative. I would definitely recommend this tour.

So I took a trip down to the Field of Terror... located in the middle of nowhere in East Windsor, NJ. There isn't an actual parking lot- you're going to have to park your car in the middle of a field, but there are parking attendants to guide you. And yes, it's free! Luckily the lot is right near the farm so don't worry about walking too far. You can purchase your tickets online or once you get there. I came on a Thursday night 10/24 and there were no lines at all. There's a couple of ticket options depending on how many haunted attractions you want to do. There are 5 in total: Haunted Hayride, Kornfield Maze, Karnival, Timmery Manor, Paintball Wagon Ride. One attraction = $20 Two attractions = $35 Three attractions = $45 Four attractions = $50 Five attractions = $65 We didn't have much time so we only did one attraction, the Haunted Hayride. There was no wait at all, so we were able to get on right away. The entire attraction lasted about 15 minutes. I don't want to spoil anything.... but it was enjoyable. However, coming from someone who is the biggest scaredy cat, I wasn't SUPER spooked... so see for yourself. The farm itself is small and easy to navigate. All of the attractions are close to one another. There were actors walking around and I definitely got a couple of jump scares LOL. They have food stands available at very reasonable prices (mostly carnival/fair-themed food like burgers, fries, funnel cake, hot dogs). Plenty of seating to enjoy your food. There's a merchandise store with cute apparel and goodies. They also have a farmer's market selling some of their produce. Since I only did one haunted attraction, take this review with a grain of salt. Was it worth $20? Ehhhh, not really. But give it a try if you're in the area and see for yourself. Get spooky.
