We LOVE the Broad theatre! This is where I took both my kids for their first movie experiences…read more They usually have some type of photo ops set up for the premieres or special viewing they have going on. We love to catch their $6 Tuesday promotion since it's usually a lot less people to disturb and they always have a good selection of films both new and classics. This was my first time getting a cocktail here and it was GOOD and STRONG lol. I there's also an arcade area and Little Free Library inside which we love.

I don't go to the movies more than once or twice a year for a variety of reasons (mainly due to the audience around me not being respectful and at the high cost of a movie ticket, I don't always see the value), but I wanted to see The Bride in a theater and I was thrilled to see it was playing here. The lovely ticket salesperson was very welcoming and a great representation of the theater. The concession/bartenders, however... I felt disliked and I try to lead with kindness so I'm not sure if it was a rough night or whatever. The guy cleaning the theater was also super nice and I felt bad that he was doing it on his own, given how inconsiderate movie patrons can be (is it so hard to take your trash out with you?) The movie experience itself was very good, with stadium style seating that I didn't expect. Prices are lower than at your typical AMC etc and I appreciated the wine selection. I also admired their community events and special showings. It reminded me a lot of one of my favorite arthouses in NYC, the Angelika.

This was when the theater was inside of Attraction's Salon and the experience was like no other. I had quite a long hiatus, not due to anything in particular, but by the time I returned to Cutting Edge as an audience member, the theater was a whole new place with lovely theater seating and an elevated stage as well as very professional sound and lighting. I want to say my first show back was Beauty and the Beast but that's all it took. It wasn't long before I was a season passholder. I have seen many shows at Cutting Edge from big musicals to small straight place and also many original shows that paid tribute to some of my favorite musical artists of all time. One day I got brave and auditioned for Rock of Ages that began my time on stage at Cutting Edge Theater instead of in the audience. The people I've met throughout my experiences there have all been wonderful and being a part of Cutting Edge Center of the Arts has truly made me a happier person. I am proud to now be among the board of trustees and to support this theater in as many ways as possible. There is something unique about Cutting Edge Center of the Arts. It truly is the most intimate and innovative theater I've ever been to. I believe everyone should strongly support all of their local community theaters as well as other arts in their community because without art the world would be so dull.

Wonderful local theater! Great shows and location, plenty of parking and even some great locals…read morerestaurants right next door for grabbing dinner before the show. There's a bar with snacks as well before the show and during intermission. Brian, the owner, also does great youth shows throughout the years. Two shows coming soon include Moana and Aladdin. The theater is small and shows always sell out-- so be sure to plan ahead so that you don't miss out.
