In the window they have trukish delight, cakes, slices, biscuits and fruit, and as you go in theres a few sections to the store. Theres the deli up front, where you can choose from a huge range of cheeses and olives and some really delicious shaved meats. Or you can go a little further down and the staff will whip you up a sandwhich to either dine in or take away. A little bit further and theres a restaurant, where then have soups of the day and various other things. It's a great multi-tasker, and it is a good place if you want some specific but different delicassen. This could easily fall into a place you'd frequently visit. The place is pretty big, and near the beach in Manly, so it's a great place, primarily, to stop for some fine foods and drinks in the manly beach atmosphere, and on the way out, peruse the stock for something to take home. Even better, if youre entertaining, you know the food they sell is good, as they also serve it in the restaurant. I took a seat on the beautiful patio and ordered a cider and a salade niçoise and a fondant au chocolat for dessert. The food was fantastic. The salad was great and had that bright, salty bite you expect from salade niçoise. Two complaints though are that the portion was quite small and the pricing was quite high. My dessert was also quite good. Creamy, chocolatey, and just the right amount of sweetness without going overboard. The food paired with the Manly Beach people watching was a great experience and start to a nice beach day.

It's just as good as it was years ago and the service is on point, friendly and excellent. Food here is amazing and I am so happy they kept my favourite dish the suckling pig on their menu all these years, it was spectacular. The baba dessert was also amazingly good and they have an excellent wine list that is well priced. The views here are amazing and I could spend a whole afternoon sipping wine and cocktails and enjoying amazing food. It's as good as I remembered it from years ago and everything was on point. Would come back here in a heartbeat :-) one of the few places where it is all about the food, service and atmosphere.
