slowest goddamn pumps i have ever used. it legitimately took me like 10 mins to fucken put 30 dollars

Today I pumped 20$ on pump NUMBER 8 , PAID CASH , WENT TO pump the gas and the pump rolled 20$ when I went back in my car , my car did not have any gas in it. When I went back into the store I told the unpleasant cashier what was wrong with my pump he replied " oh you didn't get you gas ? Try again". I bet if drove away and didn't look to see if the gas was in my car they would have ripped me off of my 20$ so BE CAREFUL with this ARCO because they can steal your money and they make it seem like they put your gas but when you go in there's no gas in your car. if I could write NO stars I WOULD. Sooo...I've never looked up this gas station before, but I'm so disgusted with this place that I had to write a review. Looks like there's a strong opinion from Yelp reviewers that THIS GAS STATION IS TRAGICALLY STUPID FOR NOT LEARNING FROM THESE REVIEWS. I feel very confident in being able to judge this run down joke of a business because I get gas and a car wash here almost weekly. Why does it suck? Let me share the many ways: 1. Pumps don't work- on average, at least 3 don't work on visits. 2. No signs posted EVER letting you know which pumps are out of order. 3. When a pump doesn't work, you don't know until you try to use your debit card and it won't go through. 4. So you get back in your car, move to another pump, and try again. 5. I got the FOURTH pump to work today. 6. Needed a receipt for car wash code. No receipt paper, so have to take my purse, put on a mask, and stand in line for a receipt. 7. Tell workers no paper in machine for a receipt and could they please stock receipt paper because I'M SPENDING MY PRECIOUS LUNCH HOUR DEALING WITH THIS GHETTO GAS STATION! 8. Go to use car wash. Doesn't work and 2 cars behind me...run inside to ask someone to come out and help. 9. VERY SWEET GUY GETS CAR WASH TO WORK. 10. Car wash repairman pulls up and cruella the manager goes to speak with repairman who's yelling at me to move up. 11. Yell back that I need my receipt from nice guy. 12. Overhear manager say that I pulled up and back with my car and I broke the car wash. 13. I tell her that's not true, and this ARCO IS A JOKE AND THEY NEED TO WORK ON THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE. 14. Graffiti all over pumps, dirty bathrooms, smoke alarm has been chirping for YEARS! Wait...isn't that out of compliance with fire codes? Will ask my firefighter friends and report them if so. SO COMPLETELY OVER THIS PLACE. Never returning. I don't care how cheap the gas is. Plus, I don't feel safe there anymore. Weird people asking for handouts all the time. PEACE OUT!!! read more

The worst ATM machines that it's faster having to run in and wait through the long lines. If you ever get through the 5 minutes of paying for gas through the machines outside, they never have paper to print your receipt. So regardless you have to be inconvenienced and have to go inside. When you go inside the clerks think you're bothering them when you want to buy gas or products. They should remember that without customers they wouldn't have jobs. I feel because most of their clientele are Hispanic, these rude clerks think they can mistreat people. It's cheaper but not worth the inconvenience and bad service. It's about supporting other brand gasoline stations for me even though the price is higher. Better service is worth the higher price and worth not getting upset just for dealing with rude, ungrateful people. *** Beware all the Arco's in Fontana have slow internet and bad service. Not worth the price and the extra $0.45 they charge you. read more

The only reason I'm giving is for the staff. The paying machines are always broken. The soda machine took half a year to fix. And after trying to ask the owner to fixes this issues I just got ignored. I don't think it's fair it makes ampm look bad when franchise owner don't care about quality. He has three locations so he don't care anymore I think. read more

I have the ampm app and every time I come here they give me attitude about the free stuff ampm has. If the workers don't like it tell the owner not to accept it. You can get 4 free items per day. I only come here because it's 0.5 miles from my job. I get the free stuff and give it to the homeless that's why I keep coming here to get the free stuff. I always buy stuff as well for myself and the homeless. read more

I always come to this location and today I stoped by and the guy on the register was wiping his nose and had no gloves and no mask and gave me my receipt! I took the other end of it took a pic and threw the receipt since I needed it for the car was code. All I saw was germs! read more

If you pay with cash here, I doubt you'll have any trouble. However, if you're like most who pay with card, prepare for headache. Half the time gas pumps are down, broken, or card readers are malfunctioning. You'd think that paying the .35 card fees would go towards actually fixing these problems instead of compounding them. Go elsewhere. read more

Gas is cheap an it's close to the 10 fwy an it's a big station , that's the only good thing about this place , I gave them one star because this is the second time I'm here trying to put gas an some of there gas pumps don't work an there to lazy to at least put a sign outside the gas pump to let there customers know what's going on ... No they wait until your inside ready to pay to inform you about the problem . They have enough employees to have one outside or make a sign or something else !!! If I could give this place negative stars I would!! I came in this place this morning to pump gas of coarse and as I go to pay at the pump, like always, it's out of service so I'm forced to go inside! I came in and there was two cashiers working and one was free so obviously I'm next. As I stand there waiting for a greeting or something, I got nothing to be worst look from this extremely rude employee named YOLANDA! She never greeted just stared at me! I said I need 30 on pump 5 and she rolls her eyes and give me a dirty look again and is looking at me up and down with disgust! I said "Is there a problem? Do you need to say something? Because I don't appreciate the way you're looking at me right now" she didn't say anything and turned her face away and looked at her screen. I decide to let it and walk away as I was already pissed off! I start walking away and I look back and YOLANDA AND THE OTHER CASHIER ARE POINTING AND TALKING SHIT ABOUT ME!!! at this point I couldn't walk away and I came back and said " are you kidding me!? Your talking about me as I walk away!?! What is your problem?! You're so rude and I don't appreciate what you're doing!!" She cuts me off and yells at me and says "YOURE THE ONE WHO GAVE ME ATTITUDE FIRST!!" I said "I'm not even gonna bother and argue with you what's your managers name?" And she turns and ignores me and I asked again and she still doesn't says anything! So I look at the other cashier and ask her too and she didn't any to me either until I had to raise my voice again and ask for the manager name and they gave me the wrong name!!! I then found the number for this place and called and asked for the manager in charge and told him what had just happened! I feel he didn't take it seriously and never took care of this situation! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!! THIS HAS BEEN THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD ANYWHERE MY WHOLE LIFE! read more

Used their car wash and myself and several other customers had issues with it. Tried to be nice and let the staff know that it wasn't working and not only did they say it was working fine, but that I "didn't know how to use it". How hard is it to use a drive thru car wash!? They also tried to accuse me of stealing the car wash of the person behind me! Why would I have to if I paid for my own!? They were rude about the whole situation and the next day when I stopped by for gas, I saw that yet another customer had an issue with it. Their car wash is clearly broken but they insist its fine and act rude with anyone who tells them about it. Totally unacceptable. read more

Painfully slow pumps! It takes forever for the pump to register your payment and just as long for it to close out once you are done. The wait time is ridiculous. They need to update their pumps. read more

Folks; if you like drama, then this Arco Station is the place to go to. To begin with; the street steering into the location are restricted depending on your direction of travel which sucks, cause I like choices. While on premises you'll notice trash throw about everywhere, graffiti on the pumps and above all the annoying chatter coming from their super slow ATM pumps that work half the time at best. Don't even bother getting your car washed, most likely it won't be working on the day you really need a wash. Anyhow that's my story and I'm sticking to it. read more

absolutely hate this place. the pump payment pads are almost always not working, the cashiers are very very slow and it's always congested. I've experienced these same results on more than a dozen visits because it's close to my home and most convenient location wise during busy traffic hours for getting on the ten east. today i was going to three different pumps and still having to go inside and wait in line for ten minutes only to get a lazy snotty attitude from the cashier. This place looks run down. Don't even attempt to insert your card into the card reader at the pump, unless you want your card to get stuck.

These pumps are ridiculously SLOW! Yes, I know I'm reviewing a gas station but with so much promise of a nice looking store, location, and car wash services, the experience from the slow debit card reader makes this place the worse. read more
