Great Bakery! Needed a cake for my wife's birthday. My friend suggested Slow Hand Bakehouse. It was a bit short notice but the Owner was awesome. She made us a beautiful chocolate cake that was absolutely delicious in a very short time . We can't rave enough about the cake. It is the best chocolate cake we have ever eaten. Really cool little bakery/coffee spot that hidden away from the main road. Very local type of vibe and they have more than just coffee and little pastries. Fabulous staff. This is one of the things you can usually count on when supporting a local business. Woman told me of a special upcoming event at the place with grilled cheese sandwiches on homemade bread and tomato soup. The weather is now changing and this sounds perfect. Anyhow, I digress...I got the breakfast burrito. Housemade salsa, properly cooked eggs, 2 sausage patties, American cheese, folded correctly. It was fine, a 5 on a 10 scale. I'll probably try a biscuit sandwich next time. Cinnamon rolls in the display case looked incredible. Bought one for a neighbor and one for myself. Good texture on dough, cream cheese icing not too sweet, could have used more cinnamon inside. I'd give it a 6. Overall. The great service from the staff will bring me back. This is a cafe that offers breakfast and most likely one of the best tasting coffees in Wilson County. I was impressed with the coffee, and I am a coffee guy! I hd this biscuit with pimento cheese, and it was delicious! It was plenty enough to satisfy a hungry person. It also dame with a side of chopped up tasty potatoes, like hash browns. Those were also good. There's room to sit or take it to go. I believe there may have been seating on the porch as well. I will definitely be coming back! read more

Although I was a little too late to order breakfast off the menu at 11:45, I managed to snag one of the breakfast soufflés I have to say it's yummy! This is a super cute little place with a nice big porch to eat on in the sun or in the shade. Friendly and quick. read more

Finally, I had some free time to stop in and try the new local Artisan bakery and coffee shop located just off the historic downtown Lebanon square walking distance from Cumberland University. After all the hype on social media, I was excited to check out Slow Hand mid-morning before their pastries sold out again. My friend and I were mesmerized by the amazing pastries on display! Everything looked so good! We settled on a Salted Caramel latte, Cafe au Lait, and a seriously moist and flavorful cupcake. The staff that helped us out were pleasant, and the service was great. So good. The butter croissant was easily one of the best I've ever eaten. Every technique was done properly, the crust was well done, lamination was spectacular, it was just perfection. Driving through town and looked for a local bakery for breakfast burrito clicked on their website. Everything looked great however, once we received the food, it was pretty bad. They had the biscuit and egg and bacon biscuit was thinner than a pancake no fluffiness or layers over melted American cheese And what looks like egg beaters or some other fake egg also got the breakfast burrito with chicken same thing, American cheese, no seasoning no crispiness to the chicken and again fake eggs and then we got the jalapeño sausage croissant, which didn't have a sausage had a hotdog in the middle That seemed to be however coffee is good but wouldn't recommend the food didnt try pastries but the website shows amazing photos feel like i got catfished hard read more

When it comes to homemade food that's made with love and care put into it, this ain't the place for that. I order a breakfast biscuit with egg, cheese, and bacon, for starters the website makes it seem like it all made with quality ingredients when reality is the biscuit was not fluffy; it's flat and thin, the cheese; over melted american cheese and the eggs looked fake. the only thing that was "quality" was the bacon. There was no flavor and definitely not worth eating. Cafeteria food at school is 100% better than that sadness and lack of love in that food and if I could put zero stars I would. read more

The food is very good here but the actual store itself inside is very dirty. My family and I visit every weekend and its always just as bad as the weekend before. This has turned into my husband and mine's go to breakfast and/or coffee break place. We've been twice so far and have gotten different pastries every time. There's not been a miss. We got the jalapeño sausage croissant and breakfast burrito (which is a hefty boy ) and a cinnamon roll to split today for breakfast with some lattes. Everything we had was so good. I hate a dry cinnamon roll and this was certainly not one. Plenty of cinnamon sugar mixed and the dough itself had a good bite and flavor to it. The icing wasn't sickly sweet either. Their coffees are good too. The espresso shots don't have any acrid taste from a bad pull. The first time we went my husband had an iced matcha latte and said it was really good as well. There's not a lot of seating inside so if there's cars in the parking lot I'd be prepared to take your food to go, but this is such a gem in Lebanon and I can't recommend Slow Hand Bakery enough.
