The things that were not damaged by the flood were damaged by Servpro and their crew. No protective covering was used on my floor while they were dragging wet things and debris and dropping stuff all over my floors they destroyed my floors upstairs and they now need to be replaced. They even cracked tile on my kitchen floor, they damaged the walls coming upstairs. They ruined my oak steps coming upstairs again by not covering them. They are all discolored and water damaged. While they cut parts of drywall they again covered nothing and my kids things were covered in drywall debris which they left. They put sewage soaked things on top of one of my sons 1 year old mattress. He now needs a new mattress. They left drywall debris and water soaked things behind. They ruined my 6 month old couch and loveseat . They said they tried to vacuum them but they couldn't get them clean. Well they made them dirty but I guess it's on me to fix it. I had to have my insurance company bring in someone else to clean up all the things left behind including items that were still wet. Servpro of Salem County refused to take down some walls that were wet. I had to argue with them. They made themselves at home coming upstairs walking through my entire home dragging dust and debris with them to use MY bathroom! They wear masks for Covid (but most of the time they had them off) but make themselves at home and use my bathroom? Again another company has to come in to finish the job correctly. I'm out so much more money now with things not originally damaged in the flood and covered through insurance. I am putting in a compliant with Servpro's insurance company to get the things they ruined, replaced. Servpro is a franchise so I cannot speak for all of them but this specific review is for Servpro of Salem County, NJ. Do not make the mistake with using this company, call someone else!

We hired them to repair several cracks in a textured drywall ceiling and specifically agreed that the repairs would be left at a Level 4 finish so we could apply knockdown texture and paint. Instead, drywall tape and a skim coat were applied over the cracks, leaving visible humps in the ceiling. We immediately explained that texturing would make the defects even more noticeable. Christopher Gonzalez acknowledged the issue and promised to return to sand and correct the work. We paid $800 after the first day because we trusted the company and expected to hire them for additional projects. He never returned. After repeated calls and text messages, he called once and again promised to come back--but still did not appear. Multiple later messages were marked as read and received no response. The agreed work was left unfinished and uncorrected, and our trust was completely broken. Based on our experience, we strongly recommend choosing another contractor.
