Went last night around 6:45-7:00pm. No line, security check was quick, while waiting on a short line, the order takers actually come to you, I placed my order, waited to be called to the counter and after some pleasant banter with the cashier during a brief wait for my product, was on my way. STAFF: Friendly, knowledgeable, personable LOCATION: conveniently located near 6 train (Bleeker St) and the D & B (Broadway Lafayette St) which is right on my way home and next door to GMT Tavern. SERVICE: seamless (Cash Only like Housing Works) They have two ATMs but I do not know the cost. Taxes are included. PRICES: seemed a little higher than Housing Works, but judging by last night, better quality/variety flower to me. Besides, I could pay 1/2 as much "legacy market" and get who knows what on the street. Look at it this way, most of ya'll will pay $8 for a beer when a six pack cost $12 and $100 for a $40 bottle of Henny to sit roped off on a 3 inch platform at a Brooklyn basement club, so... Went in and purchased two things, came out to 69.00, and in my if you use a credit card it is rounded up to the nearest 5. The transaction finished and the dude at the counter asked me "do you need a bag" "do you need a lighter" and I said "no I need my change". And when I said thank you he didn't even say anything, like he was upset that he couldn't scam me. The point is not the amount of money, it was only 1 dollar, it's the principle. If they tried to rip me off, imagine how many other people they do it too. Idk if he just assumed I was a tourist, but completely egregious behavior as an establishment, unacceptable, would not recommend. read more

This place is here for NYU students and tourists visiting the Village. You should go here, or any other weed store you see, if you are looking for marijuana and/or hemp or CBD products in a wide variety. At these stores, you can get a variety of edibles, dry flower, oils, topical balms, and more. This place is more expensive than some of the other stores, but they tend to cost more when located in these premium rental spots. It's not surprising, as the smoke shops we had before were not much different in their pricing and overprinting of smoking accoutrements, except the old smoke shops carried hookah, cigars, candy, and cigarettes, with an emphasis on Arabic and Middle Eastern treats that might be sold alongside hookah. Smacked has the minimum variety of products to get me through the door. They have a receptionist who then sends you into the retail section, which is always behind a locking closed door and is not visible from the street. Probably one of the rules to sell marijuana, but also a great tactic to make it unclear what promises lie beyond the dais of a closed red door. Once the suspense weans, this store is surprisingly sparse, with a few samples of weed-free espresso beans and some hand lotions. Most samples were gone or not present with the product advertising materials...most weed companies have a cute presentation display to entice you with their variety of products, much like the beauty counters at Department Stores. The spacing of products follows that beauty counter standard at every NYC marijuana boutique I've visited. Ah, but after the pricing, the boutique similarity ends. The receptionist was not a compelling gatekeeper. She let us in. As with many people with chronic illness and chronic pain conditions, I had to sit down after browsing the products. I came out of the store to sit on the lobby ottoman. There is an ottoman near the store door, and a bench inside the front window beneath the logo. As I sat, a few friends of the receptionist came in and sat in the front bench. No big deal. I waited for my companion to come out from the retail store. He came out and sat down with me so we could put away our purchases. Before we can leave, we must: 1. Put away money 2. Review purchases 3. Put away purchases 4. Ensure all personal belongings are secure, nothing left behind 5. Catch breath. Two asthmatics buying weed might need to breathe in order to spend money. If an inhaler is needed, use it ASAP for soonest relief. 6. Determine transportation, be it Uber or train, by using some phone and its data or wifi This list may not be all-inclusive, but serves as a reasonable example of why it may be necessary to sit on said ottoman for a brief respite before venturing onward. My companion was responding to an urgent work email which came In while waiting for Uber, and I was fishing for my inhaler in my purse, when the receptionist asked me if we were waiting for a cab or something. I explained I wasn't sure how long, but he was doing it on his phone next to me. Any brevity upon her face dissolved as she sternly announced to me, "You have Five Minutes". The salesman inside was cold and expressionless when selling the products to us. He described them with expertise but no love. He had the mannerisms of someone who grew up in the prison system, and could only express cordial warmth woth someone or something he loves. Unfortunately, he wasn't passionate about marijuana. As for the Danielle-Bregoli-type receptionist: There might be swathes of loiterers in the pre-store foyer that necessitate a 5 minute limit before being tossed off the premises. She might be the fresh, sassy kind of young beauty that entices people to shop here. She clearly knew the other two seated in front, though they didn't go to the back to buy anything. But to me, even if we weren't obviously disabled and wheezing, a purchase of $200 - $600 should afford me at least an hour of not-loitering while catching my breath and waiting for my Uber, especially if I have to share this ottoman with someone else. Not a fun place to sit when the door keeps opening into the kneecap region as people go in and out of the retail door to browse product. Cash me outside. I found dispensary by walking through the village one afternoon. The staff was very professional. And they were also extremely informative. After asking a lot of questions, (I am an avid question asker, lol) The bud-tenders helped me to find exactly what I needed. And they wasn't even annoyed with all the questions I asked! The product I purchased was top-notch and did exactly what it was supposed to do!! I actually met the owners and was surprised to learn that this is a black-owned business, and they are THRIVING!! Big disappointment. I asked a budtender if a product on their website was available, and he told me he'd never heard of it. That's it--he just blew me off. I ended up purchasing two things: Empire Hemp Co. Cherry gummies, and Florist Farms Bedtime Blueberry Sleep Gummies. Both products were awful. The cherry gummies had a bitter, almost smoky taste, with only the barest hint of cherry. They gave me indigestion, and some serious gastric upset. The blueberry gummies had very little blueberry flavor, were slightly bitter, and also gave both me and my husband indigestion. (We took half a gummy each time, so not like we ate multiple doses.) Overall, I wasn't impressed with Smacked or the products, and definitely won't be back. read more

My first time coming to this dispo, customer service was great for the most part, to be completely honest, I buy a 60$ ounce out west that is twice as good in quality and gets you much higher compared to thier crappy eighths that cost 60$ alone!! Prices are out of hand for the quality your getting, they say 28% and it hits like a 10% eighth. I got the white runts and like I said, a waste of money! The way the bud smoked felt very artificial, and the high was not very enjoyable. I can't believe the quality standards of New York! Step up your game! read more
