I was unsuccessful getting rid of it last year, and had read that while difficult to manage, you need to start with pre emergent. So, I decided to engage Lawn Doctor. The grass was looking pretty good until some time around May. I discovered I had moles. Not their fault. Over the phone, they told me I have Mole Crickets, and they need to spray for them and fire ants. They said we need to eliminate the food source. I agreed to the service. my yard kept getting worse. I've lost about 1/2 or more of my front lawn. Then they send someone out. As soon as he came in the driveway, he said he sees chinch bugs. says that is what is killing my grass. Said they don't know, unless I tell them there is a problem. I've been telling them there is a problem for a while. Now they say, we only see you yard every 5 or 6 weeks. We couldn't know without coming out and checking. Funny how they told me I had Mole Crickets over the phone, without inspection. Bottom line, I've lost most of my grass, and they take no responsibility. According to them, it's my fault. They say I didn't let them know there was an issue. They don't know that I have Chinch bugs without coming out, but they can tell over the phone I have Mole Crickets. I had one appointment set for somewhere between 8 am and 10 am. When I called at 10:15, I was told that the rain caused delays. Not even the courtesy of a phone call. I made several requests to speak with the owner of the company, who lives in my neighborhood, but apparently she cannot be bothered to call me. Very disappointing. very poor customer service.
