The teachers are very detailed in how they approach each child. Furthermore, I very much enjoy how they spend time with the kids to help with homework and other daily tasks. Their security measures are seriously cutting edge; top notch. To sign in and out your child, the doors can only be opened by your fingerprint or personal backup pin. No joke. They really put parents minds at ease by focusing on the well being of our kids. Finally, I very much love how they make sure the kids know how much they mean to Jesus, as this is a faith based place. It's nice after a day at public school for my daughter to have connections to like minded children and teachers who love the Lord.

It is very much a "business over student" mentality and there is a major lack of communication. The school does not have / does not want to provide the resources to address individual children's needs. Although past reviews are positive and we were drawn to them, this is not at all the environment that currently exists. EDIT in light of the director's response: Books were not provided until AFTER I pointed out how this school was violating Oregon Administrative Rules requiring quiet activities for non-napping children during nap time. I also witnessed video footage of nap time where *multiple* children were being loud and disruptive, not solely my child. This is more evidence of how certain students have become targeted in cycles at this school.

Miss Jamie truly loves her students & teaches them manners along with letters & lessons about our world that gets them ready for Kindergarten in a fun way. They spend time outside, play in nature, go to SMART reading where adults read to them, they are given books, and have lunch & playtime with kindergarteners of Ruch School. Hard to mention all the pluses! They do not have school on Mondays - only Tuesday - Friday. We loved it. Most holidays are on Mondays & it's great for weekends away & planning other activities like Ballet which are hard to cram in after school. Tuition is low & very affordable especially for the high quality of the preschool. One of the few preschools with After Care till 3:30pm. Lunch & snack is included & you can get the monthly menu on the Medford School District site. Our daughter liked to bring lunch at the start but soon wanted to only eat the cafeteria food. She likes the salad bar, pizza, mashed potatoes & chicken nuggets. They have vegetarian options. Although YMCA runs the program, once you are signed up Miss Jamie is great with parent emails & communication. Ruch School & parents also support the Preschool & makes it perfect for those who want to continue on in Ruch School through middle school. Currently the Preschool is full for 2018-2019 - however they are considering adding a teacher to accommodate more students. Definitely get on the waitlist & they may be able to add everyone on the waitlist if enough people call. I truly loved the program & only heard about it through other moms. YMCA doesn't advertise at all. I'm posting this in hopes that other new moms don't miss this amazing resource.

She claims to have studied Montessori teaching at NAMC, I emailed them and they have no records for her. Also the Day Cares' Facebook Page says they learn nutrition play outdoors and art but nothing about math reading Or ABC's her response in her email was " I think that the website explains it just fine in detail" for the price they are charging they should be up front with the info. My wife stood up to the Principal and was publically mocked for doing so. I have talked to the Archdiocese of Portland regarding this. Don't know if anything will be done. One can afford a full-time tutor for the cost of this school and have your child academically challenged. Next year there is a different Principal. Hopefully that one is better.

The level of education exceeds that which my children were receiving in public school and the dedication of the teachers and staff is unbeatable.
