This is a cute store with adorable kids and baby items. However, I have experienced such weird vibes when my kids are in the store. The owner seemingly follows you around and anything you touch or your kid touches, she moves back exactly as she had it. It feels like kids are not welcome there, and I'm not at all the only person who has experienced this. We went in the other day because I had to have a gift, and I told my kids to stand on the rug and not touch ANYTHING while I quickly got a gift. My three year old turned and simply looked at the cards in the holder next to where she was standing, and was told "Don't touch". Again, such a cute store, but I'd leave your kids at home. read more

I was in Small Town Charm in Nolensville today to return a pair of earrings that my daughter bough me for Mother's Day. She called the store and the daughter of the owner said we could return them because they irrated my ears so bad and these earring were not hypoallergenic and I was welcome to return them. When I got there today the owner said that no one in her store would have told us this. I said that my daughter said she spoke with someone and now I know it was her daughter. The owner said they were gold but come to find out they were gold plated. She told me that I must be allergic to gold. Wow, just wow. I said no because the ones I have in my ears are gold. So she pulled up the receipt and told me these were bought in December but if she had looked closely at the receipt she would have know that the ones from December were studs and the ones today were dangling ones. She also had a problem with me trying on her bracelets. I said to to her that I will just leave your store and let my daughter deal with this. She finally after looking under her my daughter husbands name, she saw the exact earrings that were bought for Mother's Day. This was such a terrible and demeaning experience and this owner sure did not want me returning them Instead of dealing with me so rudely, she should have dealt with her employee. She treated me like I was lying which made things even worse. She finally let me and mean let me pick out a bracelet and then thought giving me a discount would remedy the situation. I just am in shock that an owner would do this in front of other people. It would have been better if she had ask us who told us this but no she stood her ground, that no one would have told us this. I hope the owner learns from this terrible experience. I very seldom if ever do reviews but the owner earned this one. read more

Small town charm is by far my favorite place to purchase gifts for others. From candles, seasonal decor, wedding gifts, children clothing, pajama sets, bath items, coats, sentimental items,frames, cards, jewelry, prints, etc etc... they literally have so much. And not just your every day items, but really GREAT quality and unique items that are perfect for gifts or for yourself. The family who owns it is always there and always so helpful and nice! Love this shop. Amazing little gift shop.... I found so many unique items and the owner was wonderful. I was in there for so long that my kids were getting antsy and she was great. Asked them to look but not touch and it was perfect. She showed them some cool things and they were respectful of her things,awesome!
