I bought a house in Canton, Ct and I called Small Town Septic to have them inspect the septic system. We set up a date and time for the inspection. In a couple of hours Jason called me back and informed me he was the person who installed that septic system 6 months perviously. He told me there was no need to inspect the system, since he was very familiar with it and knew it was in good condition. He said we didn't need to pay him again check it out. Jason, John and their crew are amazing beyond words. I just recently bought an old house and like all old houses there were of course issues, the sceptic being the main issue. Jason and his crew came, they worked, and they conquered despite encountering heavy rain and a couple road blocks due to a poor plumbing job that was done by a previous contractor who thought it would be OK to place the concrete foundation of the deck right above the existing main DWV pipe headed to the sceptic. Of course anyone working in the trades will tell you hell hath no fury than having to deal with previously poor planning. Their team was very professional and informative. They were also very accommodating to my needs when they noticed my dry well was damaged due to it being located--and practically touching--the main drain leading to the sceptic which made it impossible for the excavator not to damage the dry well in order to dig up the main drain pipe. My fault and not their fault for I should've informed them of the whereabouts of my dry well ahead of time. They could've easily told me "too bad so sad" but instead they dug an extra hole and path for me to place a new dry well and they even went above and beyond by giving me supplies free of charge for the new dry well. Talk about a company that truly cares about their customers. I can't recommend these gentleman enough. 5 stars all day!!!! read more

Jason saved us thousands and thousands of dollars. We had an issue with our septic backing up into the house. Another company claimed we needed new leaching fields and right away Jason did not think that made sense. He spent his time thinking about what would cause this and came over a few times to check various solutions. He was able to determine the cause and fixed it!!! So my dealings with Small Town Septic, Started with another company. I was purchasing a house, and well it had septic issues. The other company whom was contacted first started with excuses, and telling me I couldn't host parties at my new house nor run water for any period of time, or use my garbage disposal. So I decided to Skip that company...! Upon recommendation from my brother, I decided to give Jason a call. His knowledge of the systems and his professionalism started our conversation with a plan of action, which I was excited about. He told me step by step what his plan was going to be and how.. well the septic that was in the house currently, was not up to health code. Needless to say he came in and installed a new tank. Which now is working flawlessly!! I highly recommend him for any of your septic issues, or if you just need yours cleaned! I will be using him for all my future servicing and thank you for doing an outstanding job and never giving me an excuse!! read more

My only complaint is that one worker used my yard as a toilet; if he had knocked on the door, he could have relieved himself inside.
