I had a pecan flavored ice cream which was good but not anything too special. We went for ice cream last Wednesday, but their entire cooler was empty due to needing repair, so we bought cupcakes. Tasty, moist cupcakes with decadent icings! I'm not really a big fan of cupcakes, and truth be told I haven't had ordered any from here. But I do love ice cream, and they do serve that too. They had 20 different flavors of ice cream; some were conventional, some were less common but certainly familiar, and others were completely unique. There was a good variety to choose from, and many had interesting mix-ins (like potato chips for example). Like any good ice cream joint, you can sample them to your heart's content. When you're finally ready to order, you choose between small or jumbo sized cups (no cones unfortunately). The small was plenty - essentially 2 full scoops for $3.75. I didn't see any sorbets or dairy-free flavors though, so make sure you're good with the creamy dairy stuff. There are also about 15 different kinds of cupcakes to choose from, and they sure look pretty. Other people I know have said that they enjoy the cupcakes here even if they don't usually like cupcakes very much usually, so I'm sure they're well worth a try. I believe they were also $3.75 a pop. This is not a complaint about the food itself, rather the treatment of customers. A couple of days ago my mother in law (77), daughter and grandbaby stopped in for ice cream after a drs.appt. My mother in law can not walk long distances and requires a walking stick for support. After they ordered their ice cream they set down at one of the few tables in there to eat. This little shop was awesome! What a great mix of crazy comfort foods. Cupcakes and ice cream! Both were predefined new and interesting flavors. We all tried the cupcake smash. They take the cupcake of your choice and split it in half. The bottom half goes into a large cup and then they put a large single scoop of your choice of ice cream on top. I was thrilled to find a bakery in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Everyone in my family were ecstatic to have some cupcakes. Honestly, we had better. The area location is easily missed and the inside is too small for families. The staff are great and they serve you fresh cupcakes and handcrafted ice cream, but they don't keep up with inventory on the cupcakes for new customers. Warning: You HAVE to eat your cupcake with a fork. We didn't realize we would need any. What a big mistake that was. We all love our cupcakes to be moist, but Smallcake's cupcakes are too moist, they fell apart in our hands, icing and crumbs got everywhere. One of the girl was extremely rude, she threw my card back on the counter and told me they only sold cupcakes individually when I had a coupon, I asked was the coupons not valid or had it expired and she asked the other workers how to use it because she didn't know how. I got a German chocolate the cake was basic it tasted like when I make box cake and the frosting was bland it's was, also got a pumpkin spice cupcake this one had a subtle taste and the Frosting was better to the other but once again it was kind of basic. At 3.75 each I find them overpriced for the basic flavors. They felt heavy because of the frosting. They looked nice they are pleasing to look at. The cupcakes are ok. Certain ones are better than others. Some of them are too sweet but that is just my opinion. I'm sure there are people out there who may prefer that. My issue with this place is that they have rules meant to make you pay more. Like you cant get two flavors in an ice cream in a medium size - only in a large (which is more expensive). Other places let you get whatever flavors you want as long as the quantity doesn't exceed the container. Truth be told, this may be a little thing - but it is enough to prevent me from wanting to go back. Fair business practices get more business. Period. Really delicious. But they literally only do cupcakes. They have mini, regular and jumbo sized cupcakes and about 2 dozen flavors they rotate periodically plus a half dozen flavors they always carry. I was visiting in the area and this place caught my eye! Unfortunately, I did not look at the reviews prior to going in. They have a cute layout and everything is pretty much pretty in pink. They have various flavors for both ice cream and cupcakes, and they also have other specialty foods such as treats for your fur baby and edible cookie dough. The ice cream we had was good, no complaints there. My family loves baked goods but we felt that the cupcakes weren't anything special. We had the red velvet and the lemon cupcake. The flavors were bland and the frosting had an off taste. It wasn't necessarily an old tasting flavor, but it sort of made me think like I bought the cupcakes from a corner store. I was expecting them to be rich, moist and packed with flavor, but I think I've definitely baked better tasting cupcakes from a box. I can't remember the exact price but I know each cupcake was pushing $4 and they were not worth the price. I will say, our dogs loved their pupcakes. Im a lemon lover so when i saw the lemon cupcake, it called out my name! The cake was good. Moist, not crumbly. Definitely not lemon. This place was awesome until recently. Some of the staff can't tell the difference in strawberry cake vs. vanilla and the manager just blew that off. We used to frequent this place weekly but now not so much. The last cupcake I got had a hard crunchy top and wasn't moist. The frosting is good but they have cut down on the amount.
