They told the contractor that both colors were very close (using the code, of course they have to be close, they are the same paint). So they try a middle ground between the original paint and the piece of wall, the result was 2 gallons of a slightly darker paint. No surprise because what we needed is just to match correctly the current color with the piece of wall. They just replaced one of the 2 gallons with the color of the sample and I have been waiting for 3 days and made multiple attempts to speak to the manager.... So far no explanation as to why they will only replaced one gallon. You are either at fault for both or not at fault at all.

I asked about warranty and he couldn't tell me. He literally walked away and left me standing there. He should not be managing anything or anyone with that bitter attitude. I ended up leaving and went to the store on Sunset. What a difference! I was helped by Alex who was very knowledgeable and has wonderful customer relations skills. Save yourself a trip and skip the store on Kendall Drive.

They basically didn't match my paint color and made me pay for it. I went in to get a standard…read moreBenjamin Moore exterior paint color to touch up spots on my stucco siding and when I got home it didn't match and wasn't even close. I wasn't happy because the store is an hour from my home and it was a huge hassle to go back. When I went back they first blamed Benjamin Moore for changing the color formulas and said it wouldn't match. Then they said the sheen choice caused the difference. They were willing to give me a new gallon of the same paint grade at no charge but then said it needed to be a different sheen that they didn't have in that grade. So they ended up giving me a more expensive paint grade and said they would eat the cost and I offered to pay the difference. When it came time to settle up the clerk changed his story and tried to charge me the full amount. In the end I was only able to get them to knock off $10. What a joke. I would not go back.

Other occasions at this store have been wonderful as well with associates giving great feedback on color, paint type, and amounts necessary. They're all very educated on their products.

Today I went there and the moment i stepped in, I was greeted cheerfully. The guy asked me what I need, and then proceeded to grab a basket and took me where the products are, and filled my basket with what I need. Once, I went there to duplicate a key. They didn't have the same base key to file from, so they use another one. Took the staff extra time to do that, and then he insisted that i do not need to pay for it, as he wasn't sure if it would work perfectly. Another time, they didn't have what I was looking for (an item I have been seeking in many places), the guy offered to ask the buyer to see if he can make a special order. Not all Ace's have great service, but this place is as good as it comes!
