I had remained patient throughout the process and was not disrespectful, so this treatment was completely unacceptable. I paid $25 after he initially quoted $30-$35, yet he said I should be grateful because he had done more work than I paid for. It is now many years later (2024) and I've had to move to a retirement village where we have an IT department which takes care of most of our IT needs. Unfortunately my old, 5SE iPhone which I need because of manual dexterity problems, couldn't be repaired by the new, young tech and ended up in worse shape than before. The floating Home button cannot be eliminated, the regular Home button which had been difficult to push is permanently stuck.
