I don't remember when I first went to Peak Wireless, but it must have been shortly after he opened his business. I'd bought cell phone(s) from him and was pleased with his helpfulness. My tablet screen was broken and Jeff offered to repair/replace it, but had never done it before on that particular item and wouldn't guarantee the work. I took my chances with him and he did an excellent job. It is now many years later (2024) and I've had to move to a retirement village where we have an IT department which takes care of most of our IT needs. Unfortunately my old, 5SE iPhone which I need because of manual dexterity problems, couldn't be repaired by the new, young tech and ended up in worse shape than before. The floating Home button cannot be eliminated, the regular Home button which had been difficult to push is permanently stuck. It is now Friday evening and I'll have to wait until Monday to somehow get the phone down to Peak Wireless and have Jeff and his crew work their magic on it. read more

2 days before Christmas and my IPhone and my body went into the cold water while trout fishing. After returning home I discovered the phone had suffered more pain and trauma than myself. I was getting ready for 3 day trip out of town and no cellphone! I live in Brevard NC and found Peak Wireless on Yelp. I decided to roll the dice and drive over and hope they were there 1 day before Christmas Eve. I arrived there and Jeff greeted me with a smile and quickly proceeded to inspect and working on the phone diagnosis while I waited in my car( he was aware I was 1hr away from home). Thankfully the phone was able to be repaired by Jeff and I was out of the door with my IPhone restored to its normal working condition in less than 2 hrs. Couldn't ask for any better service and pleasant staff plus he offered to use the repair payment towards a new phone if the repair failed. Showed Jeff (the owner) the issues...on my Zfold 3 the open screen was just white when opened and the front screen was not working in certain areas of screen. Here's yesterday's story: My old iPhone 6 Plus just wasn't holding a charge very well so I decided it was time to upgrade. I drove up to the Verizon Store by the airport. I decided that I wanted the IPhone XR with 256 Mb (in any color). They had no promotions other than a $400 discount if I spent $480 a year on bandwidth I didn't need. Bad deal! Grudgingly, I decide to get the phone at full price. The guy said they had none in stock, but I could order it. That would be stupid since promotions start the beginning of each month So, I left and stopped at Peak Wireless. I had never been there, but the reviews were outstanding. They were extremely nice and installed a new battery in 30 minutes. It cost around $30! The phone is like new! He told me to charge it up, and then run it down. It's been on for 24 hours and still has 60% battery! Wow! I still may get a new phone when either there's a good promo or a new model, but right now, this phone does everything I need. I'm happy! Dropped my phone and shattered the screen so I went to Verizon to see what my options were. After a long confusing conversation which led to a bunch of corperate bull I headed down to this place. Jeff, the owner, was super friendly and had my screen switch out in a few minutes. The price was super reasonable at $140 and I couldn't complain since he let me use his phone to shop around for a better price! While he fixed my phone conversation flowed and he seems to be a great guy!! I crushed the screen of my Samsung S9. I was looking at new phone replacement costs when someone I worked with recommended I check out Peak. Went today at 10 AM, got the screen replaced and out the door by noon. Super friendly and my phone looks brand new. I spent $250 whereas a comparable replacement would have been $500-800. My Iphone, in working condition, stopped working after Peak replaced the glass. Picked up my phone, making them put the broken glass back on & refunded, and it worked! Well, Peak wanted more money to send the phone to be repaired so I took it to AT&T store who said the new screen was bad, it's not a common problem as Peak told me. Had a local company put a new screen on and amazingly, it worked. I got a free screen protector & saved $14 in the process. Shame on you Peak! read more

I had a great experience here! I shattered the screen on my iPhone 7plus and they repaired it quickly for me - no appointment. I just walked in and came back an hour and half later. After a few weeks I noticed some delays and discoloration and called them. They invited me back to have the screen re-replaced for free. Once again it was quick and easy and the man I spoke to over the phone was very kind and helpful. I would definitely come back, but hopefully won't need to. Cost was I think $116- can't remember exactly but over $100. Pricey, but seems average market price for phone fixing. read more

I brought my iPhone 6 in to get the screen replaced. After I told them what my insurance deductible would be to get it fixed, they even gave me a discount. The original screen they put on was defective (the manufacturer's fault) so they installed the second one for free! Very honest people, and it cost me less than sending it into Verizon (even with insurance). read more
