*WARNING* *DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU WANT POOR SERVICE* Read for the full story on how the COPS got involved with this store. My boyfriend was looking for an iPhone XS max for his mom for Christmas and I came across one from this store through Facebook Marketplace. We came in on a Sunday 12/22/19 to check out the phone with Jordan and checked as much as we could. Note, we have experience with thoroughly checking iPhones, so everything seemed fine to our knowledge. Since we did not foresee any issues with the phone, we decided to decline the warranty. On Tuesday 12/24/19, I was putting a screen protector on the phone when I noticed the screen was very loose and that there was a defect in the screen. We asked Jordan about the issues and if we could return the phone, however he said they don't do returns, but they would repair the phone at a discounted price. Then, he stated we should have paid for the warranty, however to my understanding the phone should be sold in good condition and the warranty is for any repairs that are caused by the OWNER, not because the STORE neglects to provide a properly working product. Anyways, after my boyfriend spoke with Jordan, he agreed to do the repair for FREE and asked us to come in. We come into the store, and Jordan leaves us in the second floor lounge while he repairs the phone in the office on the third floor. Mind you, this store is not an actual store at all. It's a rented out office space in an apartment complex downtown. You can't go into the store unless they let you in because the elevator requires a key card. About 30 minutes later, Jordan comes out with the "repaired" phone, and the phone still has that same defect. My boyfriend was not happy with this service and complained, but Jordan said that "the phone is fine," "the screen is OEM," and "the screen is supposed to do that when you press down on it." However, this is a complete lie because my boyfriend and I have the same exact phone, and with the 3D touch screen, there should not be a defect. After much arguing, Jordan agreed that if we were not happy, he'll put the original screen back on, however he would charge us $60... I'm sorry, $60 for what? He did nothing to repair the phone and we were not happy with the service or customer service he provided. Again, Jordan continued to argue with my boyfriend and Jordan started to become very unprofessional. My boyfriend then tried to get the phone back from Jordan, but then he snatched the phone away and said that if we don't pay the $60, we won't get the phone back. My boyfriend was furious and then said he was going to call the cops because at this point it was theft. Jordan then started making rude comments. I was sitting on the couch, and he says to me "Monica, I don't know how you deal with him.." Excuse me? What kind of business professional says things like this to their customers? Completely unprofessional. Jordan also said that if the cops didn't come by 7:00PM, he would be leaving with the phone. Even more unprofessional! Luckily, the cops came at 6:55PM and helped settle matters. To make things short, Jordan ended up giving the phone back and we didn't have to pay the $60. TL;DR. Don't buy a phone from here unless you want to deal with unprofessional customer service and a phone with poor quality parts. You'll end up getting charged for literally nothing, calling the cops, and wasting 2 hours of your Christmas Eve... only to get your phone back in the end for free. 10/10 WOULD NOT recommend such a place. It was not dropped. Called Jordan and he said to take the protector off. No warranty! He said we could bring it by anD he'd look at it. The building he sent us too was a joke . Keypad entry and told us to go to the second floor even though he was on the third. Let us wander around for 20 minutes before he came down. Took the protector off and sent us on our way. Smart Revive services are above and beyond. My dropped my phone in the pool and Jordan came all the way out to the Disney Resort late in the evening on Saturday and attempted to repair my device. My device was seriously damaged and additional parts was required. Jordan came back to the resort to pick up the phone early Monday morning. At the end, my phone was beyond repairable and was delivered back to me at the hotel after days of attempted with no additional charges. Wow. What can I say. First they seem like fast and efficient people. But everytimw they fix one thing on the phone they break another. And then they convinced me to purchase a refurbished phone from them. The lock button never worked correctly. So they repaired it. And after the second try and keeping my phone a long time with no updates they got it to work. Only to break the gps and make the Bluetooth fuzzy which wasn't even an issue to begin with. Then instead of offering to fix the issue they created they are charging me and trying to purchase the phone at half of what I paid them for it. JORDAN seems like a good guy but obviously has hired poor technicians that run slow and break other things just to have the customer bring them back to fix. read more

DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE. *PLEASE READ* THEY ARE DECEIVING AND WILL SCREW YOU OUT OF YOUR MONEY IF YOU ARE NOT KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT IPHONES. I was looking for a secondary phone when I saw an ad on offer up for a red iPhone 8 Plus. I have been looking for a red 8 plus for about a month or two now, and once I got the price down to $263 it seemed like a good deal. I went into the store and asked if the phone was unlocked and would work with my Verizon SIM. The guy told me it was carrier unlocked, but when I was ready to put my SIM in the phone he took out an R-SIM and attached it to my SIM card. Normally, I would avoid these things because I know how unreliable they can be. Since this was a secondary phone for me, I decided to let it go. While looking at the phone, I noticed that the true tone feature wasn't available, which means, the screen was replaced. I happen to have been working with iPhone for years and know of a way to fix that issue and if they were a competent repair place they would know this. Once again, I decided to let it go because it was a secondary phone for me. I went ahead and purchased the phone and was told it came with a warranty. As soon as I left the store and took the phone off of dark mode, there were visible heat marks in the display. I came to find out that the volume up button did not work. My cellular service was cutting in and out. The battery went down crazy fast. There was dust in the front camera lense. I ran the serial and IMEI numbers on the phone and found out it was actually locked to T-Mobile with an unpaid bill and was originally a space gray iPhone 8 Plus meaning the back housings were switched. I feel like should've been noted to me before I purchased. AN R-SIM DOES NOT MEAN THE PHONE IS UNLOCKED. DO NOT GET THIS CONFUSED. THIS IS DOWN RIGHT DECEIVING. I took it back and demanded all these problems be fixed. I picked my phone up the next day and what do you know, now the bottom speaker doesn't work. I asked if I could receive a refund but was told I had to pay a $45 restocking fee for a phone I had just purchased hours before. What is the purpose of that? I barely even had the phone for 4 hours. I had enough of this place and decided not even to take it back and get a new phone instead. If i has paid the full $425 they had it listed as I would have been even more enraged. This is a downright scam. They are taking advantage of people who know nothing about these devices. I had even inquired about a new iPhone 11 Pro Max that was supposedly carrier unlocked, and when I ran the IMEI it was locked to AT&T with yet again, an unpaid bill. Another direct lie. Now I am here with a useless phone sitting on my desk collecting dust. What an utter waste of my time and money.
