My 70 year old mother went to her for estate planning purposes. She was met with poor communication throughout the process, my mother literally had to chase her down to get responses by phone and even in person to find the out the status of the services Diane was supposed to provide. After part of the service was finished, my mother realized another part of their agreed upon services was not performed and went to find out about it's status in person since Diane was not returning her phone calls. My mom had to show up in person on more than one occasion since her calls were not being returned. Diane did not know how to provide the requested service but agreed to provide them anyway, when I called and spoke to her (after being upset at how my mom has been treated) she said she asked several people about how to perform the service and that's why it took so long. She said she agreed to it because my mom is so nice. As a professional myself, I would never agree to perform a service, especially not a legal service, that i didnt actually know how to perform, especially not for a person i think is "so nice". I'd want them to be serviced by the most capable person who can meet their needs. That outstanding item has still not been completed despite beginning this process AT LEAST 4 months ago. My mother is currently looking for another legal professional to look over the documentation that has been delivered at this point to make sure it was done correctly since the services provided were so poorly provided.
