I believe that was about 3 weeks ago, and each time since then when I've inquired she told me either she was waiting to hear back from the apartments and then later it became that "now isn't a good hiring time" for the apartment complexes. Would have been better had she told me all this before I wasted all that time. But, I guess many staffing agencies know people are desperate and are willing to put up with these shenanigans. Recommend applying here if you have previous leasing experience, otherwise it's not worth the effort, IMO.

It takes a bit of practice to navigate in their website. The specialist was quick to walk away and talk with the other employees. I entered this process hoping for advocacy and meaningful assistance. Instead, I have too often been met with contradictions, lack of clarity, poor communication, and decisions that seem disconnected from the real-life consequences they carry. No one seeking help through a vocational rehabilitation program should walk away feeling more hopeless than when they arrived. It's a horrifying program and should be shut down.
