I've also worked with the other trainers - Phillip, Malik, Hunter, and Ariel - they're all amazing and really friendly, and you get to learn different tips, exercises, etc. from all of them. It's a semi-private studio environment so you don't have to worry about being judged! The space is always clean and well-stocked with snacks, towels, water, etc. Their use of technology is also great - you receive a heart rate monitor, you can see your schedule on an app, you get scanned periodically on the Styku to see your progress, and you can even text your trainers! He is extremely knowledgeable and dedicated to making sure every person in the room knows what to do and helps with form if necessary and welcomed. Another great perk is access to the locker rooms and saunas. I feel the entire facility is kept clean and organized. I love the big windows everywhere which allow for a ton of natural light to come inside. I also enjoy using the indoor/outdoor green space on the bottom floor which has a garage door that can open and close depending on the weather. Very nice during Spring, Summer and early Fall. I never feel like I have to wait for equipment to free up, and they do offer complimentary towels at the front desk upon check-in. This athletic club is on ClassPass and I typically just purchase gym time using a couple credits or I sign up for the circuit or conditioning classes.

I was immediately made to feel welcome by everyone in the classes. Every trainer that I have had here has been absolutely excellent. They are patient and very helpful during the class. I am part of the older crowd, and just getting back into it. I have to scale my exercises based on my fitness level. At Mad Mare, you are challenged to work at your own personal level rather than a one-size-fits-all class. Sometimes it's tough to go in, but I always leave with a great sense of satisfaction and accomplishment. The community is great, with a mix of younger people as well as an older crowd, and they all blend together effortlessly. I called to reserve and he welcomed me to the first class by text. I've been really happy with the workouts, even though I have never been a morning workout person. The programs are varied and efficient. Matthew does not have a 'drill sargeant' style, so my preconceptions of 'boot camps' are not a problem. It is go your own pace, if you're feeling it or not on any given day, if you can just make it to class, there's a workout for you. 530am class is generally busiest. 630, 730, and 830 classes currently have room for more students. Matthew is easy to talk to, so just let him know any concerns or goals. Or just workout. He offers a generous Free week trial, so no reason not to try.

I've never gotten better or quicker results than with the help of the programs and coaches at North Point Fitness. The workouts are always interesting and challenging (I don't think I've done the same workout twice in the last 3 years). One of the reasons I workout is to maintain and improve a level of fitness that underpins the active life I want to lead (like occasional long distance runs with habitual runners, whitewater rafting, rock climbing, etc with friends... and helping people lift and move heavy things). Since joining North Point Fitness, I've never felt incapable of doing absolutely anything I wanted (or was asked) to do. The employees are professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and they practice what they preach. They also bring their personalities to work with them - so during every visit I smile, laugh, and have fun while working really hard to achieve personal fitness goals. The members also routinely encourage one another and become like family after just a short time. I love this place!
